The conversation having finished for the moment the two trainers look up at the sky for a few more minutes before getting up. Iggy holds onto the backpack, keeping his puppet in view as the cWakasagihime looks around. Avoiding the tall grass the two make it to the Old village easily, though seeing and hearing a few puppets on the way. Once in the village they notice a puppet center, a puppet mart and not much else. A quick check reminds them they have 2 potions and 6000 of this lands currency to spend. They could just head north of the village to find their friend instead of linger though.

Laura turns to Iggy and points to the north exit of the village.
"Lets go find this friend of ours quickly."

Iggy nods and the duo head out the exit, spotting more tall grass to be avoided. After avoiding some they find a figure crouched at the edge of some tall grass. He was muttering to himself and taking down some notes.
"Hmmmm an abundence of mouse puppets in this area."

Iggy recognizes the voice while it just seems familar to Laura, the neko tilting her head as she trie to recall the owner of the voice.

Iggy, "Hey Don."

The figure whirls around and stands up to greet the kitsune with a backslapping hug.

"Iggy. So good to see you. Thought I was the only one who got sent here by Yukari."

Getting a good look at Iggy's friend, Laura recognizes him as one of the friendlier waiters at her favorite restaurant.

"I thought his name was Donald?"

D: "Oh it is but no one takes you seriously when you are named after a cartoon character. Now I prefer to be called "The Don" or just "Don". Makes it seem like I can actually make something of myself.

"I see."

I: "What you really see is another nerd, possibly turned into a wolf boy. Don't let the looks fool you, he is one of us. Didn't miss anything did I?"

D: "Don't forget Aya's assistant. However before we go back, how about a puppet fight?"

Totally, we had to walk all the way here to find this guy. Time to unleash a pounding somehow.

Don looks on as the duo prepare themselves, Laura taking a few moments to get acquainted with her puppet. The cYuki looking around a bit before realizing it is battle time. Don does his best to stiffle some laughter as Iggy helps his mermaid puppet out of the backpack.

"Always have to be difficult don`t you Iggy?"

"Of course, otherwise it wouldnt be fun. Now which puppets do you have?"

Don smiles at the response and holds out two orbs before lightly tossing them. When the light subsides two puppets with a pair of rabbit ears and sporting fluffy rabbit tails to match. One of the puppet`s ears look as though they are buttoned on while the other is grinning mischieviously.

"Ummm who are they?" questions Laura.

"They are Reisen and Tewi. Reisen is a pyshic type while Tewi is a normal type."

Iggy laughs. "So the "Don" wants to be surrounded by bunny girls that give him good luck."

"Ha ha ha, you ready to fight?"

"Always"

The battle begins and commands are given. The two trainers begin with a divide and conquer strategy. Laura ordering for an attack on the opposing cTewi while Iggy calls for an attack on the cReisen. After they damage is dealt Don calls out his own attacks, both his puppets delivering a swift pound to Iggy's cWakasagihime. The mermaid puppet shook her head even as her health went to half under the combined attack. The mermaid then grins and snacks on the oran berry she was holding, gaining back the lost health.

Second round, seeing the combined hurt from the previous round Laura and Iggy both order the next set of attacks to occur on the cReisen. Laura's puppet, being the faster of the two strikes first and scores a critical hit. Followed up by Iggy's mermaid puppet's attack the lunar rabbit puppet was close to fainting.

Don gives out his own orders, his cTewi heading towards Laura's cYuki as the hurt cReisen lets out a growl, intimidating both Iggy and Laura's puppets. The puppets losing some attack power as cYuki is victim to a pound from Don's cTewi. Minor damage sustained.

The third round begins with Laura sending her puppet at the cReisen again. This attack doing just enough damage to cause the lunar rabbit puppet to faint. Don frowns at the situation as Iggy's cWakasagihime delivers another tackle attack, hitting his remaining puppet for minor damage. Giving his order his cTewi attacks the mermaid puppet with another pound. Before making contact the mermaid puppet rolls out of the way, causing the move to miss.

"Seems like we are lucky this time Don."

"So it seems."

Switching it up for the forth round Laura's puppet looks the cTewi right in the eyes, a glint going off which scares the earth rabbit puppet. It's defense is lowered as Iggy's mermaid puppet delivers another tackle attack. Bringing Don's remaining puppet down to less than half health before it retaliates. This time striking Laura's cYuki as payback for the Leer, doing minor damage.

Sensing victory is near the duo launch another attack. The combined power of cWakasagihime's tackle and cYuki's pound are sufficent to cause Don's remaining puppet to faint. Don recalls his puppet as Laura and Iggy both hi-five their puppets. Both puppets recieved enough exp. from the battle to level up. Both are now lvl 6

Iggy: "We win Don, nice battle though."

Laura nods as she clumsily returns her cYuki into it's orb. Iggy scoops up his mermaid puppet into his backpack again. "Where to now?"

Laura shakes her head, "Don't look at me. I have no idea what to do..."

Don coughs once to get their attention. "I believe programming of the game was such that next the "heros" are to go back to the research lab to obtain the touhoudex. Then the adventure can truly begin."

Laura looks over as Iggy nods in agreement. The trio heads back to Aya's research center, the two men talking to each other as the neko half listens. Her mind having a small bit of trouble wrapping around the situation and what her options are. Eventually the group returns back to where Iggy and Laura started, walking up to the doors.
