A War Torn World- Day 5

"Yeah, why?" Avelion said, as Shali walked up next to him. "He bugging you, Av'?"

"This cannot be," The gruagach muttered under it's breath, walking away. "If he is Avelion, then I have found it early. The Storm is coming, and nothing can be done without the second. Not the Neraphrim, most likely the Demon servant Nova, but it was always believed that the second dies. " It continues to walk.

Shali was confused. You know what it's talking about, boss? She was worried. What that thing had said made it sound like Avelion was going to die...

"I DON'T KNOW, I BET IT'S JUST RAMBLING. IF IT WAS REALLY IMPORTANT, IT WOULD TELL US." The voice said.

"The second? Avelion? What? And, more importantly..." Nova began. "What does this has to do with me?"

((No, it sounds like he's planning on killing Nova, or having Nova kill Ave))

"You know, I need to talk to both of you Neraphrims, and even you, Nova, and try to not let you master hear me, it's that important."

Shali was confused. "I don't know if that's wise."

"He'll learn eventually, but it's very important that he learns later, so ask him, please."

"Master can hear what we hear Gruagach, but if it is of importance, we need to know anyways." Nova said. "the most I can ask is to not pay attention, and he may not like secret keeping."

"SURE...I'LL GO BURN A PLANET OR SOMETHING." The voice said, half seriously.

Shali sighed. "Alright. Whats this about Avelion?" Avelion was confused. "What's going on here?"

"Good question." Nova said to Avelion.

Avelion shrugged. "I have no clue." Shali laughed. "Yeah, right Av'. When have you EVER had no idea of anything?" "I'm telling the truth this time!"

"Well, a few gruagach have the gift of future sight, prediction, and other forms of future magic, but the most powerful mage of that kind predicted the Dimension Strike Storm. Now, to show you, I need your masters permissions to work a minor temporary magic on you."

Boss? Can he? "Just a warning, mister monster, I'm not going if thisis like what you showed me yesterday."

"WHAT? I WASN'T LISTENING." The voice said.

"Master, you're such a terrible liar." Nova said, blankly.

"HEHE...GO AHEAD CREATURE." The voice laughed.

((Sorry 'bout the slow typing. My cat claimed my left hand. Wrapped around it, and decided to "clean it"))

"RAJ-tet-TRO-ke-NET-ter!" The gruagach yelled, and another larger gruagach, with a cyclops eye instead of the normal two, seemed to replace him, and they were again in the gruagach's world.



The image faded, and the three were suddenly back in their world. "The first and last prophecy of Grandetch. He die immediately after speaking it to our people."

Shali was worried now... "Oh no.... But that means someone is going to die..."

"Our scholars have found that it is most likely that the second show die, but the first person to enter our dimension that we saw was Nova. We have scouts, you see."

"This is all a bunch of bullshit. Oracles, my ***. Futures are never predictable!" Nova said. "My will is my own. I will not bow to fate." Nova finished. He never believed in prophecies, seeing how it was a false prophecy that was the reason he was here in the first place.

Shali was scared now. She shut her eyes, squeezing them shut. "Right. It's not possible for him to die. Not at all." She wasn't sure of that. It is, isn't it? She asked herself.

"You don't understand, not one of our prophecies has failed to come true. And the other prophecies concerning the Storm have always mentioned a hurricane in the Avelion's world the day before the Storm.. I smelled one coming yesterday. It'll be here tomorrow."

Shali nearly cried out, but bit her tongue at the last second. "No... He can't die... Not Nova..." She whispered.

"I'm sorry, but our scholars all agreed on this nearly immediately. That's rare. The all agreeing thing, don't get me wrong, they're very good, but they're always arguing."

"I'm not going to die." Nova said, clenching his fists. "I can't, not by bullshit and lies. Even if I were to fall, and this vessel..." Nova said, pointing to his chest. He meant his body. "...were to perish, I am not some sacrifice for this creature's false salvation." Nova said, pointing to the creature. "Seeing as this is all probably all YOUR doing, you self righteous worm," Nova said to the creature. "...to try to prove yourself or your species omnipotent, if you attempt to kill me, I will be redeemed by the Father, and I will make sure to have you, and your pitiful race wiped out." Nova finished. He meant if he died, his soul would return to his master, seeing as it can not go to heaven, and he could continue to exist. He still did not accept the fact that this thing was threatening him with what he knew was false.

Shali nearly cried, and bit her lip. "I want to go back. NOW."
