A War Torn World- Day 5

"No...it's merely coincidence a Trent and a Shali existed in both places, seeing as those events happened thousands of years ago. This happens a lot." Nova explained. "Within the multiverse, creation happens all the time, but even every universe has its limitations for...'creativity'. Repeats happen a lot. In fact, I've met at least four other Zares."

Shali shrugged, deciding to forget about it. "Alright then.One last question, though. What happened to Atom?"

Nova winced a bit at the name. "We don't mention Atom." Nova said, in a warning tone. "Master gets pissed."

At hearing that warning, Shali was a bit afraid. "I'll keep that in mind, then."A question formed in her mind, and she shoved it to the back of her head. She stood up.

"Are we returning to the city than?" Nova asked Shali.

((Alright, I'll be on for an hour or so, but then I'll log off, and won't be back for a while. If this isn't gonna pause (which I heard it was), have Nova return to his master for a while, and leave him out of the story. Don't kill him, or bother with his master while I'm gone, please, if you all continue.))

"I guess." Shali said, still worried their master might be angry with her.
((We'll pause.))

"Alright, let's go." Nova said, poofing. He had left Shali behind, and realizing this fact a few seconds later, he poofed back. "Aren't ya coming?" He asked.

((He's not angry, no worries))

"I am. I don't know how to do what you're doing, so I'll just fly." Shali smiled, letting the winds around her picking up.

"Fly? Lame..." Nova said, poofing. He appeared on a distant tree. "Just teleport!" He yelled. "It's easier, and more fun!"

"How?" Shali asked.

"HOW?!" Nova asked, astonished, and poofed again to where she was. "Like that." He said, dumbly. "It's an ability you obtained in the pact. You can't teleport to other dimensions, but it's faster than walking." He explained. "Just focus enough energy, and concentrate on where you want to go. At first, you'll take a while to master the concentration part, but eventually, it becomes a..." He started, snapping his fingers, and now poofing to another tree. "...SNAP!"

"WHAT NOVA DIDN'T TELL YOU IS THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE THAT STUPID 'POOFING' AFFECT HE DOES. IT USUALLY JUST HAPPENS, BUT NOVA DECIDED TO MAKE IT 'SPECIAL.' AT LEAST IT'S NOT SPARKLES." The voice said, annoyed.

"Hey! I'm allowed a little creative input on my powers!" Nova yelled defensively. He liked his black smokey "poof" affect.

Shali giggled behind her hand, then concentrated. She appeared behind Nova.

"No poof, sparkles, bubbles, or even a colorful mist?" Nova asked, bummed out. "Shame..."

"OR, A GOOD THING?" The voice suggested. Nova only stuck out his tongue, and poofed to the city, hoping Shali would/could follow.

Shali focused on the city, and was quickly there. "I don't think it's as fun as flying, though." She heard her masters comment. "Perhaps."
((I have no answer for you.))

"Not as fun as flying?" Nova asked. "Well...that's because you didn't do it right! Try something original! Oh, and try doing it like this." Nova said, poofing right in front of a pedestrian, with his eyes glowing red. He allowed the black smoke to stay a bit longer, allowing an eerie mist to envelop his glowing eyes, scaring the **** out of him/her.

((You mean like, you refuse to answer, or you don't know?))

Shali giggled behind her hand again. "If you want, I'll show you why I think flying is more fun." She said, calling a wind.
((You need to ask Kevin, I mean.))

"I can fly." Nova said blankly. "It's just so boring. All you do is go above people. The only fun in flying is dropping stuff on them, and I can still do that with poofing."

Shali rolled her eyes. "Watch." She said, leaping into the air. The winds picked her up, and she flew in circles and loops. Avelion stepped out of an alley way and leaned against a building near Nova. "She showing you why she love's to fly?" he asked, as she dove towards the ground and then sped back up.

"Yep..." Nova answered the boy.

Shali laughed as she sped through the air, gently touching back on the ground. "I may not do special things with teleportation, but when I fly? When I fly, it's time to play." She smiled. "You can't do loops or spins when you teleport."
((I'll bet their master's face palming right now.))

"DON'T ENCOURAGE HIM." The voice said blankly.

"I greet you, demon servant Nova." The Gruagach said, running up to him. "I didn't know that Neraphrims could fly. And who is this boy?"

"Sup Gruagach." Nova said. He didn't know its name, but at least he wasn't calling it a beast. "This is Avelion...I think." He answered, pointing to the boy.

"About what? Flying?" Shali said. She smiled at Nova. She then looked at the Gruagach. "Anyone who can use the wind can fly. You just have to be creative with them!" Avelion glared at the creature. "My name is Avelion."
