"Maybe I should show you what my dragon half has cost me"
*Trent takes off his shirt to reveal over 170 scars all across his torso*

"I want at least half of my people back. We are more powerful the more of us that are living. I'm just a shadow of what I used to be."

"Oh yeah mutt, that is nothing." The voice cackled. "Let me have fun with you, and you'll be praying for that."

Nova looked at the girl, Aisse, confused, when he heard that (^). "What am I missing?" Nova asked quietly.

"At least you had FRIENDS. AT least YOU were respected by the guards, at least YOU weren't one of the last two of your race!" Shali was shocked to see Avelion stand up and Yell at Trent. "She's had NOTHING. She was ignored by everyone except for when they were chasing her, and she never did anything wrong! And the ONE TIME Shali thought for herself, made a choice on her own, YOU didn't want to let her. At least YOUR desicions are respected!" "Avelion.." Shali whispered, shocked. He's saying everything that I'm unable to explain to Trent... "Get the hell away from Shali, Trent. Get the hell away from my sister."

"My people were killed, in rage, by the Tanat people, hundreds of years ago. I managed to survive, barely. We live for a very long time. None of us has died of age yet."

"YOUR WRONG. I never had friends or anyone who respected me. Not a single person. Until I showed them what I could do. I saved the entire city once, after that they saw me as a savior. But that wasn't until I was 19 yrs old. And I'm one of the only hybrids alive. Most are killed right after childbirth."

"I understand that!" Nova said to Aisse. "But, if ya ask me, it sounds like you need your people here for a tribal ability, so that you yourself may have more power. Not because you miss 'em, or have any sorrow!" Nova said. "That's greed."

"And, that's a sin!" The voice said.

"No, that's just a bonus. My family died. Why wouldn't I want them back? I loved them."

"My master will not bring back the dead he sees will serve no purpose." Nova told Aisse. "Your family is gone, he cannot bring them back. I thought you wanted help migrating, not a mass resurrection?"

"You have NEVER had it as bad as my sister. Stay away from her. If I EVER see you TOUCH her again, I will kill you myself." Avelion yelled at him, his voice going low at the end. His skin was turning red, and he started breathing heavily. "Avelion, calm down. Please." Shali whispered, frightened because she was seeing Avelion like this.

"Exactly. There is, somewhere, bound to be a dimension where my family lives."

"Have you been given countless scars across your body just because your different? I'd be dead right now if it wasn't for the resilience dragon half."

"SHUT UP. YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND, SHALI WAS RIGHT, SO WAS NOVA. YOU WERE BORN WITH POWER, SHE'S HAD TO STRUGGLE FOR EVERYTHING SHE'S EVER HAD, SHUT UP AND LEAVE MY SISTER ALONE." Avelion started glow bright red, the winds around him howling. He floated a few feet into the air, and Shali stared. "Avelion, stop. You're scaring me." She whispered, knowing he couldn't hear her. He glanced towards her, then walked over to Trent, lifting him with winds and throwing him into a tree. "St-stop Avelion. Stop this right now!" Shali yelled, and Avelion did stop, but only for a second.

"Nova? Right? This is one fucked up dimension." The voice said.

"Very funny..." Nova said to the voice, annoyed.

"Were you talking to your master?"

"AVELION, STOP RIGHT NOW OR I SWEAR YOU WILL REGRET IT!" Shali yelled, leaping into the air. She grabbed him, and pulled him to the ground. She turned him to look at her, and when their eyes met, he looked like a kid again. He looked at Trent. "Oh no.. I'm sorry Shali." He whispered, hugging her. She patted his back awkwardly. "It's gonna be alright, Av'. You just wait." She sighed, as Avelion let go of her and sat beneath a tree. She turned and started walking back to town.

"I have to admit that did hurt a little."

"Yes..." Nova said to Aisse.

"So you can just talk to him at any time? Does he hear what you hear? "

Avelion glared at him. "I meant what I said. Stay away from her."

"Yes, Aisse, he hears, sees, tastes, feels, etc. what I do." Nova said to her.

"Okay. But what about my request?"

"You also said never touch her again. Implying that I touched her before, yet I did no such thing."
