Yes. Shali shook, dizzy. She felt a pain in her head, and grimaced. "Figures... What ELSE is going to go wrong today?"

"What else is going to go right today?" Nova asked, trying to make a joke.

"True. Nothing's gone right so far, my should my luck improve NOW?" Shali asked the open air. Avelion looked at her oddly. "Hey, Shal's-" "Don't call me that!" "Sorry. Just tell your boss that I officially say, screw him." Shali looked at Avelion, and laughed. "Av', do me a favor." "What?" "Don't do anything stupid. That's my job."
((Why?))

"Nova, hurt the furry one named Avelion." The voice said.

"Later..." Nova answered, annoyed.

"Leave Av' alone. He doesn't have a brain." "HEY!" "Burn!" "Your mean." Avelion glared at her, and she hit him in in the head. "OW! Shali, why'd you do that?" "Because you annoyed the boss, and your annoying me." Shali said, sticking her tongue out him. "Meany..." Avelion muttered. "And proud of it!" Shali laughed at him. He glared at her, then pouted and sat down.

"YES! IT'S DOWN! KICK IT!" The voice coaxed. Nova only sighed.

((Nova, you are, unfortunatly, yes it is unfortunate, going to die. But it won't be permenent. Heh heh. :Evilgrin: And you get to take the gruagach down with you, even though your death is not actually his fault. ))

As the gruagach and Kallista went into a locked room, Aisse came out from the shadows. "Are you the one called Nova?" She said, quietly.

"Boss, leave Av' alone." "YES, PLEASE! DON'T MAKE ME GET KILLED BY HER!" Shali sighed. "Av', you're not exactly helping your case. Now your making ME want to kill you, and you know I can." "Sorry." he quickly said. "Now apologize to my boss." Shali said, putting her hands on her hips. "Fine. Sorry, mister demon." he said insincerely. "SAY IT AND MEAN IT." "Alright! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Avelion said, apologizing to the demon quickly and sincerely. "I'm the only one allowed to beat up Avelion."

"Who wants to know?" Nova asked the visitor, ignoring Shali for now.

"Wow...and I thought I was the one who had people under my control..." The voice said, and laughed, making a whipping noise. "Shali has her own little *****!" He said, and continued laughing.

Shali looked at the girl, and decided to ignore her. Avelion looked at Shali. "Please don't let her kill me, please don't let her kill me." He whispered, as she turned to look at him. "Careful, Av'. You know I don't like gods." "Sorry!"
((Their boss was supposed to comment on that.(See post before Nova's.)))

"Aisse. No last name. My people didn't believe in last names."

Shali looked at her, then looked away. "Hmph."

"Aisse is it?" Nova asked. "Yes, I'm called Nova. Why do you ask?"

((Not much for him to say. He's probably just laughing.))

Shali walked off, pissed. "I have him under control because he's afraid of me."
((I still want to see it.))

"You're master is the demon? Right? Then he knows how to transport through dimensions, right?" She says.

"My master is not a demon, but the commoners know him as such." Nova replied to Aisse. "Besides, I too know how to cross the threshold of the dimensions. The Æther no longer affects me." He told her. "Why does this matter?"

((There Shali, he made a comment. Go back up to see it.))

"My people were wiped out, and I thought that maybe he could bring some from another dimension, where they weren't wiped out, into here. I'd give anything."

((Aisse might become one of my main characters, with her own character sheet and all.))

((Yay!)) Shali walked back, kicking a rock at her feet. "Fucking rain...."

"Perhaps, Aisse, but what are you willing to give?" He said, and then turned to her. "You say 'anything', but I doubt you mean it. Is saving your people worth that?" He asked coldly.

"What do you wish?" She said, quietly.

"Nova, THINK. Remember one of the reasons I did it." Shali said, hearing his comment.

"Yes Shali, but master has no need for another servant like us. Also, he offered possible migration to you, he didn't to her. She's making a demonic wish, and it might cost her dearly." Nova said to Shali.

Shali looked at the girl, knowing how she felt. Her expression softened, and she managed to smile at her.

"Servant? I thought you had to be chosen or something. "

((Why wouldn't he want another servant? Aisse has a few tricks too, such as natural teleportation, the ability to simply not be noticed if she doesn't want to be, the ability to teleport objects and people, and so on.))

Shali shook her head at the girl, and sighed. She noticed Avelion sneaking away, and glared at him. He came back and walked over to Aisse, hugging her.
