A War Torn World- Day 5

((With lot's and lot's of eyes. No blindness for these things.))

Nova unenthusiastically clapped once. "Good job, ya made an abortion." Nova said. "Can it at least..." Nova began.

((You pissed her off, dear.))
Shali heard a sound on her left, and looked over there. She saw a little boy standing in the street. "What's wrong?" "My house got destroyed by the hurricane. I don't know where my parents are."

The creature jumped, and the blades extended two feet. One of them hit the wall, and a foot around the spot where it hit just dissolved. "That a good reason?"

"Let me finish!" Nova exclaimed. "Can it at least..." He began again. "SURVIVE THIS!" He yelled, snapping both fingers, and raising his hands above his head. A large pillar of black flame appeared from the ground, and engulfed the creature in it's vortex. Nova only grinned.

Shali wrote:

"My house got destroyed by the hurricane. I don't know where my parents are."

"I'll help you look for them"

The creature's blades extended another foot, and the vortex began to dissolve.

"Magical acid. Very potent."

((Don't ask me how, it's magic, of course.))

Shali looked at the sad little boy, then whistled. "Hey Kyran! Get down here! I'm gonna need some help finding some people!" She yelled. "Ok, now what do your parents look like?" "Mommy's got long silver hair, and Daddy has black hair that he keeps in a pony tail. They're around 6 feet tall, and are around 25." The little boy said, as Kyran landed next to her. Shali told Kyran what the boy had told her. "We're going to look for your mommy and daddy, ok? Stay here." She said, entering the building. She looked at the inside. "This is gonna be hard." Of course it will, Shali. "Hush, Kyran."

"Ehh...it's alright. Now, what else?" Nova asked.

"Where should we start looking?"

"Well, for one thing, it could rearrange your insides before you knew what was happening, don't worry, it's under my control. Another, I could give you as many of these things as you wanted. And I can make other creatures as well. I can make creatures that don't exist, except in my mind. I also can make more, larger things, if my people are here."

Shali saw something floating, and ran over to a puddle of water. In it lay the upright body of a man the matched the boys discription. For a moment she thought it was dead, then noticed it was breathing.

*Turns the guy on his back*
"Ok now where's the mother?"

"I aint too afraid of your summonings, but they could serve of some use." He said. "But, if I bring your people here, and you wanna make that pact, you'd have to leave them behind. We travel...A LOT."

"I just need to see them once every two hundred years, and that only until I'm 700. One second. I don't like to waste my materials." She said, and the creature began to become a bunch of formless flesh again, and was down to a small ball in a couple of seconds. "There, now I can summon it anytime." She said, putting the ball in a small bag on her shoulder.

"That might be harder." Shali said, as the man woke up. "Where's my son?" "Outside. Do you know where your wife is?" "No."

"Maybe..." Nova said.

((No offense, but I'm gonna go. See ya guys tomorrow.))

Shali saw the lightning and shut her eyes as it hit, then started twitching uncontrollably. Avelion screamed as the lightning struck him, and lay on the ground, not near death, but unconscious. Shali opened her eyes, and saw Avelion on the ground. She stoood up, and went over to him. "Avelion, wake up." She whispered.

"Well...wasn't that exciting?" Nova said blankly.

Shali looked at Avelion, who groaned. "Don't you DARE die, Av'. Don't you dare. Wake up!" She yelled, shaking in pain from the lightning that had hit her. Avelion blinked, then screamed in pain. "No, PLEASE Av', don't die.." She whispered.
