Ice laughs with a nod.

Mortius shadow jumps further north and continues to walk, very, very casually, relaxed. Meanwhile his shadow is making mocking fac- ... gestures at the spirits.

"vSure! I'm certain there's food in here ~somewhere~.^"

Ice smiles, searching through the cupboards.

Psychowolf and his wolfy friend begin to look for wolf friendly housing, wandering around the city.

There are many "Supers" hotels. Most of them, amusingly are full. One of them advertises that it's open to less than human heroes and their companions!

Kasha notes some food, pointing it out. "There's food!"

Mort's shadow suddenly finds itself pinned down by a rather painful form of dark energy.

"VAh! Okay, you can have that.^"

Psychowolf wanders to the less than human accommodations, twirling his pipe in his hands. The wolf, meanwhile, puts on its nicest expression, not wanting to sleep outside for the thousandth time on a row.

There are a lot of guard types in this building, for some reason. Other than that it seems good enough.

The wolf growls at the guards, his hackles raised.
"I know. These guys make me antsy too."

"Nothing to worry about, sir." One of them, a bit younger than the rest, speaks up. "We are all here for Sunshine's safety. Won't affect your stay at all."

Off in the waiting room a little girl plays with a doll.

Kasha devours the food, but not very messily. She doesn't even burp at the end. Kasha is the politest Trull in the universe.

The firefly flutters into the kitchen.

Ice raises an eyebrow at the firefly.

"You wretch, WHERE ARE YOU!" his shadow looks rather pissed. Mortius looks down, fire appears in his hand. S*** just got real.

"Foolish sheep! Fight the power!" A voice says, and the earth shakes.

The firefly flickers.

The shadow leaves the plane of reality for a bit and goes back to the plane of shadows. Mortius is left without his shadow for a few minutes max. He sends the turned ghoul to search where the voice is coming from.

Psychowolf snorts at the name Sunshine. "We'll sleep in da park. Don't need no jack boots ruining our sleep." The wolf growls in agreement. If wolves could glare, this one would be glaring at the guards. He really wanted to avoid the rain.

"vHm... A firefly?^"

The guard shrugs. "If you want to sleep out in the park, your choice. Although why any hero would want to _avoid_ Sunshine, I dunno."

The energy follows, draining the shadow and preventing proper regeneration or healing.

"Before I go, who the HELL is Sunshine?"

"Oh, you haven't heard of her?" The guard grins, and points at the little girl. "Over there. If you want, you can ask her why she's got a full guard."

"Makes sense. Only a little kid'd pick a name like Sunshine. Sorry. Kids and da wold don't get along so well."
