Area 15

"Sorry, Shorty. That sounds like it might tickle. Got any other ideas?"

Shali huffs, grumbling. "Five-foot four isn't that short.. Y'all are just really tall..." She thinks, blinks, and grins. "I have a laptop! Doesn't have a -whole- lot of games, but I think it's at least got Plants-versus-Zombies on it. Wanna play that with me? It's rather fitting, given the circumstances."

"Fine by me. Just so you know, I'm allergic to hay and cannibus, fair warning if we fight zombies with plants."

Shali laughs, pulling out her laptop and opening it up. She fiddles with the settings, before handing it over.

"Doopa boop boop boop boop boop, doopa boop bah bahda bah!"

I nod. "Eh, good enough." I then go hunting for wherever the carbonated beverages may be, loading five boxes of rootbeer into my cart. "THis, this is good." I hum a silly little tune, and send the cart rolling back to the car with a push of magic.

Blasting a zombie away from the nearest cart, which I take, I go hunting for the items on the list.

"I hope Jaime remembers my RC... I need that caffeine, it makes my headaches go away."

I continue to collect items of use and food, snacks and drinks for all, sending back a cart any time it gets full. However many zombies find themselves in my way learn the meaning of pain as I fry and blast them with lightning. "Ahh, what a nice shopping trip!" I says, shoving a zombie back then pulling out my recently acquired shotgun. "Back it up, biotch." Boom, splat, and another one bites the dust.

Shali looks up as the cart returns- with a zombie riding on it. "Um. Problem! Zombie at six o'clock!"

Shade smiles, leaning out of one of the windows. Raising one large hand he murmurs: "Arrete," and black energy pulses out of his hand. It hits the cart, sending it spinning to a stop away from the truck, char cooking the zombie like a deep fryer, the cart coursing with the energy. After the zombie is blackened, what is left of the energy returns to Shade, jumping up one sleeve. He gives a big theatrical yawn for the neko's benefit, before lounging back into the truck.

Sending back the last cart, I ride on it, zapping passing zombies. "Whooooo! Suck it undead sons of bitches! Yeaaaah!" I yell as a roll by. Eventually I stop back at the truck. "Yeeehaw!"

"You done yet? You are overly dramatic, and... well, never mind. Just get in the damnable truck. Where's Mi'j? He get eaten?"

"Give him a moment. He's not on a rootbeer shocker rush! Whooo!" I raise both my arms a I yell. I then start loading the stuff from the carts into the truck. Part way through, I shrug, and just put the carts themselves in.

"...Why the -carts-?"

"How many carts you think we'll need later?" Surprisingly, this was not said in a sarcastic way. Shade seems to be pondering something in his mind.

"Not sure, but I'm sure I can find a use for them if we don't. It _is_ my specialty, after all." I say, shoving the last cart away instead. It runs over three zombies, slamming them into a tree. "Heh. I've spent my entire life playing zombie games. I win at life now!"

"I can always use them for something as well..." Shade is very quiet when he says this, and it is obvious his mind is somewhere else.

"I took all the laptops too. Cause why not? And the video games. Disk copy of Skyrim! Hey, do you think steam still works?"

"If Valve hasn't already been overrun by the zombies and being left for dead, then they're steam portal should still be open until they only have half a life." Chris looks pleased with this statement. Very, very pleased.

"If not, it should be fairly easy to get in to Steam. I have... connections with the people who did some of the hardware for Steam."

I evil laugh like a bastard. "Goood, goood! Mwahahahaha!"

"That does NOT mean I'll let you tear the games open and eat all the little crunchy bits."

I frown. "... This isn't over."

"Everyone always says that to me..."

Shali facepalms. "Bad. BAD puns. Not as bad as Kel, but still bad!"
