Area 15

Welcome to Area Fifteen, formerly known as Roanoke, Texas. The year is 2020, and the date is November 17th. Last night, as everyone slept, a strand of a virus introduced itself to the nearby hospital, twisting and manipulating the genes of both doctors and patients alike, turning them into zombies- removing all cognitive function, speeding up regeneration rates insanely. All the virus left was a mindless desire to reproduce, to spread itself to everyone else. As the night went on, zombies slipped from the hospital, slipping into homes and stores, turning unwary victims into zombies.
It is now 4:30 AM, and the screams of one of your neighbors has just roused you from sleep.

Shali sits up, blinking as she listens to the shrieks coming from a nearby house. For a moment, she considers going back to sleep, but when the screams grow louder and louder, she sighs, climbing out of bed and getting dressed. "Damn it.. That was a good dream, too! I was killing stuff!" She grumbles to herself.

Ben hears the screams, and lazily peers out the window, without much avail, since it simply showed the side of the house next door and about an eight foot gap in between the houses. When they continue, he rolls out of bed, and puts on a shirt before going to the front door and peering outside.

It's raining heavily outside, and the screams just keep getting louder and louder. Shambling zombies can be seen in the streets, though they haven't yet begun to decompose.

Shade laughs, holding a sexy party WAAAYYYYYY the fuck north, dancing and singing, a glass of Lev in his hand. He continues to grind with a pretty lady as the night progresses, throwing people into the pool, despite the near freezing temperatures of Alaska. Climbing into the jacuzzi, he invites three or four of the women to sit next to him, sipping on his beer and laughing, the epitome of fun and excitement.

Jaime is the idiot who did not survive, nor get turned into a zombie. He just DIED.

Ben sighs. "God. Dammit..." He steps outside and begins sprinting down the sidewalk to Shali's house. As he goes, he summons a couple lesser earth golems, which rise from the ground behind him, blocking the path of the zombies.

Jaime died in the best way though. He died from spontaneous combustion. Further inspection of the corpse, however, reveals that he did NOT, in fact, die of spontaneous combustion. It just looked like he did, because an incredibly intelligent zombie lit him on fire by shoving a Molotov cocktail down his throat.

Shade briefly considers filling the pool with liquor, then decides against it.

Ben reaches the house, and climbs onto the roof, knocking on Shali's window.

Chris is sleeping in today.

Jaime's charred corpse is incapable of loving, because it is a charred corpse.

Tired of waiting, he opens the window, but turns around to see Chris on his horse, and waves to him, indicating to come up onto the roof.

Chris wakes from deep slumber, it takes a pretty fucking WILD storm to do that. He grabs a Blizzard Hoodie, Jeans, a necklace with a rock through the chain, and a T-shirt. (Not in THAT particular order, but moving on.)He grabs his ipod, puts on some music, and grabs a knife from the kitchen, he sheathes the knife goes out into the storm, makes some barley visible symbols on his body glow, and summons his steed, he then storms (get it?) to Shali's house. Chris smiles and waves, hopping off of the horse and onto the roof of Shali's house. "What's Shali doing now?" He asks, looking down onto the streets of Area 15.

"Probably sleeping or coughing her intestines out again." Ben smirks as he replies and climbs inside Shali's room.

"Ah, is it Tuesday already?" Chris jokes, as he follows Ben into Shali's room. His symbols seize to glow and the horse vanishes from the streets.

Jaime's charred corpse tastes like a charred corpse, covered in zombie shit. Ew.

"Ummm, I don't actually know." He looks around, and then yells out. "Shali?"

"God damnit, SHALI?!" Chris yells out into the house. He pauses his music so he can better hear the response. he pulls out his necklace from his pocket and hooks it onto his neck, well not- you know what I mean...

Ben sighs, and walks out of the room, and looks around the filthy house.

Shali is downstairs in the kitchen, tapping away on her netbook, writing.

As Ben ventures downstairs, he looks at her, dumbstruck. "Do you -not- hear the bloody ZOMBIES outside, and everyone -dying-!?"

"Mng? Wha? AUGH!" Shali practically jumps while typing, and glares. "But- but- STORIES!"

Shade looks around at the disaster area that is his buddy's cabin, and laughs. Bodies lie everywhere around him, out cold from the mixture of booze, exertion and lack of sleep.
