"So long as he does not attempt to absorb the power all at once, he should do admirably."

"See, that's what I'm worried about."

Pulling a knife from a sheath kept strapped to his belt always, he finds a good raising on the concrete and begins to sharpen it. Murmuring a tune in the rare tongue of elven.
"De'ra yel' me essa e' dagora, ta es il noldo."
He grins as he sheathes his dagger and he summons his sword. Checking to make sure it's battle ready.

"Don't worry. I can always draw off the excess."

"Chris! What did I tell you about super-charging your weapons?" Shali sounds very matronly now, in full swing as she turns and puts her hands on her hips.

Shade glomps Shali. Cause he can.

Chris smiles. "The funny part is you think I'm done..."

Symbols that resemble a now noticeable pattern on the blade appear on his arms, and a new color can be seen in his eyes, rather than the ocean blue that was there before, now it resembles a mix of blood red and gold.

"Shade, how is the truck going?" I ask, strapping a second power source to my other arm and testing it by pulsing short bursts of lightning at the mall.

For a split second, Shade seems to barely be present, robes forming over his current clothing, his eyes glazing over for a second. "Not as well as it should. I'll need somewhere private to finish. They don't like strangers much."

Shali sighs, covering her face with a hand. "My freinds," she mutters, "are idiots! Chris, watch it!"

"Hey, you build complex machinery out of simple household components. THEN you can call me an idiot, Short Shit."

"Not ~you~. Those two."

"Alright. Chris, let's clear this place out so Shade can work." I say, nodding over to my combat partner. I begin to charge my lightning, grabbing my longstaff. "Ready?"

Chris sighs as he realizes he forgot how to say this line in elven. "For when the war god fills this flesh beware" and with this he picks up the summoned blade and approaches Jaime ((stupid autocorrect turned that into jail XD)) "As long as any damage is your responsibility-" he says as he sucks his sword into a zombie's face. "-then I'm good."

"It is! Chris, no channeling the Bear!"

"And who is to stop me?"

"Your damage is always my responsibility, it seems. SMUSH THE SYSTEM!" I shout, shoving power into the staff to harden, weighten, and sharpen it, before stabbing a zombie and using it to beat two others to death.

"Well there was that one time-" Chris impales a zombie with his blade and glares at the next. "When we invaded that demon tower, and you had the bottom floor while,I advanced and killed shit-" in the midst of this sentence, he cuts a zombie into quadrants and figures out how best to slice up the next one. "And ya' know, the tower FELL. I took responsibility for that. In a completely roundabout way."

"True, true. Heh." I say, sliding the corpse off my staff. I then run forwards and trip a zombie with it, crushing its skull with my feet. "Squishy. Squishy squishy squishy." I giggle like the madman I just so happen to be, pulling out the sword and slicing an approaching zombie, having let the staff fall for the moment.

"Guuuys... Be -careful-! We should look for other survivors, set up a permanent base."

Chris pauses his mindless slaughter of zombies and looks over at Shali. "Where pray tell are we going to look for another survivor? And what are the chances that they're competent AND not a complete ass. But the idea of a permanent base, hmmm." He resumes slaughter of the now dead once living. "What about the tunnels? We could defend that area rather easily, besides, if we ever fell the need we can tunnel under the school and have a little more room." It seems as though he had thought of this before. Like a lot.

"I want a power plant of some sort." I say, throwing the sword at a zombie, grabbing my staff, smacking the zombie next to zombie one, electrifying the sword, and then pulling it out. "More power means more awesome for me. More awesome for me is good for all of you."

"Power plants? Outdated. Shade butts in, bending metal with his bare hands. As for the rest of it, tunnels are a BAD idea. I need contact with the earth at night."

"Better idea. How about we just use the school itself as a base? It's definitely large enough, it's bound to still have some food, the nurses office will have medical supplies, no one will have to share a bedroom- heck, there might even be enough beds in the nurses office for all of us, if we wheel them out. As for survivors- we're missing Lina, Jordan, Caleb- you know. Important people."

"/me facepalms." I shout, slicing and dicing and smashing and crashing. "School will have kid zombies, not happening."
