Ceria-Day Two

Powerful healing magic pulses through the vines, and everyone and everything CANNOT move. Only Eda is free. The power holding her relinquishes control to her.

Eda just kinda... Slumps. The vines drop to the ground like ribbons, and Eda sways slightly.

Kayley is still stuck. The vines have dragged her down with them.

Earandil grunts, fury apparent in his eyes as he is dragged down by the vines.

The vines are no longer ~actively~ holding anyone, they're kinda just laying there.

Earandil tries to get up, glaring at everyone and everything.

The vines let him up without a fight.

Earandil growls, low and slow, interrupting the connection between himself and Mongo, creating a slingshot effect back to the guardian"s abode.

Kayley frees herself with fire and sighs. "That went well." She says sarcastically.

Earandil turned to leave, looking furious as he contemplated his work ahead, and the day's events. Ironically, it is this fury that enables him to have the energy to GET home.

Jesse brushes the vines and they slowly light on fire. "Better than home school at least."

"Okay then... Without him I'm going to have to call in some favors. It'll take a while to get everything together. Why don't you tell me about yourself while I work." Kayley's eye fragments start swirling again.

Earandil drags himself home, where he proceeds to draw himself a VERY hot bath.

"Besides the fact that I didn't know I had a major foci, I was homeschooled up until this year, then my parents felt it would be useful for me to go to a public school. My minor four are energy, fire, dark and... " he trails off in memory, counting with his fingers his foci. "Ah, Earth was my fourth. Needless to say my parents grew with concern every year of homeschooling. So, nothing much else to talk about."

"Hmmm.. How are you with your Earth focus?" Kayley asks, looking thoughtful.

Earan hears nothing suspicious.

"I have basics down, but it's definitely not my best. "

Earandil hums a little, submerging his whole body into the steaming bath, keeping his eyes wide open.

"Can you pull metal?" She asks, looking rather thoughtful some more.

Earan hears nothing, but next time he opens his eyes a shadow seems to fade away.

"I can pull metal, at least a bit, I need some more practice with that particular technique."

"Well you're about to get practice. Go outside, and search for underground metal. Pull some of it up." Kayley says, distracted by whatever cyberspace she's seeing.

Earandil draws energy from the heat of the water, using it to refresh his body. Mentally, he sends out a ping to his household spirits, to see if there are any unwanted guests.

The spirits report a disturbing lack of thing. Not that there isn't anything there, but a lack of thing in the living room.

Earandil smiles, tasking his household spirits to make him toast with peach jelly. He closes his eyes, continuing to hold his breath, until finally, he is forced to rise, drawing in a series of controlled deep breaths.

The lack of thing continues to be there. The sandwich begins to be made.

Earandil hums a little as he throws on a hoody, some shorts, and sandals. His lack of disturbance by the nothing seems to be a clear invitation as he yawns a little, stretching.
