Ceria-Day Two

Jesse walks outside, felling around the earth for some metal within the network of stone.

Ceria has a variety of metal deposits below, most of them buried deep in the ground. It will take effort not to break anything important.

'Very well. As for the other annoyance, I shall deal with it when the time comes.'

Earandil nods, mostly to himself. Plonking down in a chair, he pulls out a box and begins slapping down materials for a new ace.

Jesse looks and pulls out a nearby metal deposit. Hopefully it wasn't important right?

Luckily, nothing too important breaks, he pulls up a deposit of some unnamed metal.

Jesse walks back inside, not another word. He left the metal deposit above ground, if someone walks outside of the house, it's three feet to their right.

Earandil is busy slapping components together, forming a round shell around a small hollow. Running into the kitchen, he scrounges around for a vial with a partition down the middle. Carefully sliding out the partition, he replaces it with a much more fragile version, tongue sticking out as he focuses on aligning it just right. Placing his right index finger carefully to one side, he focuses to draw some of his Death focus energy into that side.

Eda curls up on the couch, yawning and shutting her eyes.

"Ah, good, you're done." Kayley walks outside. "Keep an eye on the girl. She's crazy powerful." Loud, and unusual noises start coming from the pile of metal.

"Quiet you, before I melt you down for scrap."

Jesse sighs as he sits down in a chair. Making no regard to the noise outside.

A short while later, Kayley returns, and tosses him what looks like a high tech cannon. "Use that, since you're low on combat skills. We're going to get some information stored in a government warehouse. "

Earandil grins as he gets the mixture just right, slipping the cylindrical device out of his pocket and heading out for a night of testing and mischief after strapping on his shield and sword.

Jesse catches the cannon, speaking with a tone of hesitation. "Exactly how illegal is this?"

"Not illegal enough to justify what I'm paying you. Besides, you, of all of us, have the least to worry about. Heh." Kaley grins.

"And secondly, how important IS this information?"

"Very. The government wouldn't keep it under wards and in paper if it wasn't. Also it includes the records of Malachi, who is a major player in all of this, I'm sure."

"How cute, she learns." Malachi says, appearing behind her.

Kaley turns around, gun immediately in hand.

Jesse readies his cannon on impulse, aiming it at Malachi.

Earandil giggles, plotting exactly where he will strike for the optimum test of his new tech. Striding briskly through the streets, he heads for a center of technology and watches, waiting for a solid opening.
