Ceria-Day Two

"Don't bother, children. We all know it won't work. I'm just here to tell Miss Jumpy here to not bother the death mage any more. Or she'll answer to me." He grins at Kaley, then glances at Jesse. His face turns white and he vanishes.

Kaley blinks... "Wait. What.... You scared him. That means we can fight him!" Kaley looks like she just won the lottery.

"Great, wait, what?" Jesse is confused to three different hells, one of which donkeys dance... Don't think onto that analogy, I certainly didn't.

"You scared him! I wonder if he somehow recognized your Major... Hmmm." Kaley stares into space, thinking deeply on this development.

"And I assume this is both good and bad? I mean if he knows about my major then he'll try to get me 'out of the way' or he could be extremely frightened... GAH I hate it when I think too much into things!"

"Hopefully the threat of Possession will keep him wary enough to stay away." she says absentmindedly. She snaps back to reality. Let's get moving. He's planning to get the information before me."

He straps the cannon to his back. "Lead the way."

Kaley leads him out to a car that was waiting outside. "Destination: X 3 43 Tordas Alpha." She says, and the car starts driving itself.

"How convenient..." Jesse looks out the window, his mind wandering.

"Experimental technology. Took it on my way out of the government experimentation facility." Kaley explains.

Jesse snaps back to reality. "Ah, that's what that noise outside was..."

"We'll be working together. I'll focus on eliminating any threats while you search the papers, got it?"

Meanwhile, Earandil embraces his inner terrorist, calling EVERY spirit he can to him. It's both amusing and terrifying at the same time. Amusifying?

"Oh joy..." Jesse lets his mind wander again.

Havoc spreads around, as spirits begin to flood the area.

Kaley's programmed route takes them to the edge of the city. "We get out here. We're headed out of the city." She says, getting out of the car.

"Wonderful, I always preferred the countryside." He says sarcastically as he gets out of the car

"Amusing. Aim the cannon at the force field. Press the blue button and hold the trigger for five seconds."

As instructed, he pushes the blue button and aims at the field. Holding the trigger for five second.

The cannon fires a blue stream of light for five seconds, leaving a large hole in the shield. Kaley drags Jesse and the cannon through it before it closes. "How about that, it actually works! Hah!"

"Great, where is the information?"

"We've still got a ways to go. We'll be walking on the side of the bridge for now, until we can get to the ride I have set up.

Eda yawns as she wakes once more. She looks around, chewing on her lip for a moment as she tries to figure out what to do. After a moment, she gets a grin, sneaking out of the house and into the city to explore and see if she can find anything interesting. Plants follow her movements, leaving a clear trail.

Jesse ((would that be a sheath? I'll call it sheath until further notice)) sheaths the giant cannon and heads down the bridge.

((I think it would be holster?))
They get a quarter of the way down the bridge before a kitri beams down in front of them. Kaley pulls out her gun, aiming it at the kitri, which neatly sidesteps her shot.

Earandil grins, giving the spirits gentle nudges, causing as much chaos as possible.

Chaos spreads throughout the area.

"So... Whatcha doing this for, anyway?" The ring spirit asks.
