Ceria-Day One

Earan groans, getting up, and follows them, mother screaming in the background about the damage.

Eda went back the way she'd come, into the poorer part of town. As she walked, the plants grew greener and leaned to touch her. However, the further in they went, the less plants there were, until there were only a few popping up now and again. She stopped in front of a rundown little shack, clustered with many other little shacks, and opened the door. "Mommy? Is daddy still home? There's someone here who wants to talk to you." A woman stepped into view. She had skin colored like shadows, and blood red irises. Her hair was a gleaming white, catching and holding the light in the tiny house. "Oh! Shane, come out here!" A man, with pale skin, short, brown hair, and green eyes stepped out behind her. "Now who is this?" he asked. Standing near him would make anyone uncomfortable, though he was perfectly friendly and not bad looking. There was just something about him.

Earn drummed the hilt of his scabbarded sword, watching all of this with jealousy.

"I'm Kaley Renon. I'd like to talk about your daughter." Kaley says politely.

Earan glares at this happy home, seething with anger and closing his mind.

"Oh, no she's been very good, actually, exceptionally you could say. Might I come in? It would be easier to talk inside."

The couple exchanges a glance, then nod. "Sure. Come on in. All three of you."

Kaley nods and follows them in. "Thank you. Privacy is a good thing."

"Hey! Tell me before you go somewhere next time!" Lara yells, running up to them.

Lara stands and lets the others do the talking.

Earan goes in reluctantly, still glaring.

Lara combines her mind and mystic powers to delude Earan's feelings.

Eda shrinks away from his glare, hiding behind Kaley. "Did I do something wrong?" she whispers to the older girl.

'You did nothing wrong.' Lara says telepathically to Eda.

((She was talking about him being all glarey.))

"You are aware of your daughters Nature ability, I hope?"

Earan resists her attempts, as his mind is closed off to other mind users.

Lara realizing there is nothing here for her, leaves, and continues her rooftop jumping.

Earan leans up against the wall, glaring at the whole and happy family.

As she gets away, she moves towards the downtown, knowing this might be her chance at revenge, while there was disarray and panic.

"Well... Yes." "Another thing you didn't tell me about, Ilnore?"

"Okay. I'm gonna ask calmly. Why. Isn't. She. In. The. Academy?" Kaley asks, to her credit, calmly, even though she sounds like she has to force herself not to yell.
