Ceria-Day One

Kaley looks at him. "Please and thank you!" She says, shooting over the edge of the window. The gun glows incredibly bright and fires off a blast of fire. It runs a path through a couple of kitri, removing a few limbs from both, before it impacts against the new soldier. This was almost a large, naturally armored version of the normal kitri. It didn't react at all to the blast.

He brings up some metal, less than before, so as not to knock him out, and gives them to her.

"Good." She takes it, and starts forming something from it. The Anthren looks around, and hisses out orders. The kitri look like they're standing at attention.

Earandil begins slowly leeching life and energy out of them, giving it both to his undead minions and his teammates.

Kaley's hands blur, not due to speed, but magic. She runs her fingertip down a bit of metal, and where she touches glows, and starts forming circuits. What she's making looks like some kind of skeletal glove.
The Anthren continues to give out orders, looking around. It apparently notices something off in the opposite direction and moves towards it. Most of the kitri stay around the house.

Earandil jumps out of the window and begins attacking the kitri, wild eyed and yelling in anger, completely out of control.

Three kitri begin to fire on him, the others watching the house for the rest of the people. The kitri seem to be firing weaker shots than normal.
Kaley finishes her glove, and puts it on her left hand. It begins to crackle with electric power. "Perfect." She points her hand out the window, and opens her palm. One of the kitri about to attack Earan loses its cranium.

Earan flips the shield down, and the shots ricochet without leaving a mark on it. He runs, stabbing into one of the three that fired on him.

The one he stabs flails, one of its claws grabbing at his leg. Kaley fires a shot with her pistol, and it lets go. "Careful! They've got good grips!" She yells, and shoots one that was too close to the house in the center. It begins to burn, and the scent is horrid. But the effect on the kitri is immediate, they turn tail and run! Kaley laughs. "They don't like the scent of burning kitri. Not at all."

Earan rubs his shield. "Thanks father, wherever you are," he says, before slipping it back onto his back and checking the damage to his leg.

It was starting to burn, as if the kitri's hand was acidic. "Ouch. You're a healer, right? You'll wanna fix that, fast. If it sets in... you'll lose all of your magic." Kaley says, walking over. "With that over there, they'll stay away for now. We should be safe." She glances over at the little girl. "Hey! Come out here, please! There's injured civilians out here."

Earan heals his leg, and begins helping with the wounded as best he can.

About fifteen people in the immediate area are injured in the same way that he was, and another ten burned by the kitri's weaponfire. "Damn monsters." Kaley says, glaring at the sky. The alarm stops, and a new voice sounds.
"The attack is over, be wary of kitri left behind." It repeats over and over.

Adam goes to work on those the kitri had infected, working carefully on each one.

Eda stood up,m walking over to Kaley. "O-okay.."
((Sorry, sorry! I'm back!))

"Hey, you handle those with burns. If you need any help, just let me know."

She nodded, walking shakily over to someone with a burn. She started healing them carefully.

As they heal the injured, the sky begins to clear, revealing it to be a little bit after midday. As soon as Eda finished healing burn victims, Kaley pulled her aside. "What is your name?" she asks, politely.

Earan finishes with the infections, checking to see if they have any other injuries. He sits on the steps to his house, looking exhausted.

"E-edarok. Edarok Arcannis." Her voice shook.

"Okay, Eda, calm down, it's okay. How old are you?" Kaley asks, putting her hands on the young girl's shoulders.

Eda took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. A flower leaned over from the ground and rubbed against her leg comfortingly. "T-ten."

"Ten?! With nature?! And you're not in the Academy?" Kaley looks mad for a second before she calms down. "Damn. I'll have to get you enrolled... Can I speak with your parents?" she says.

Eda nodded. "I can take you to them. Well, mommy, at least. Daddy might not be home..."

"That's good enough. Hey! Earan! I'm going to talk to this girl's mother about the Academy, don't you go anywhere, I still need to talk to your mother about the Kitri!" she says. "Okay, lead the way, Eda."
