A War Torn World- Day 5

"Wha? Why can't he have the power? Don't stab yourself yet."

"Think about it dumbass." Nova said to her. "Your main 'selling point' of the trade was that WE would obtain that power. Just blindly throwing it away like some prize makes it sound like you're turning your back on us, by trying to give the power to one who is not on our side." Nova explained. "Think! If you anger master, he can kill you with a thought!"

"Oh. Okay. But Shali didn't want it. And you are waiting. And he's her half brother."

The clouds turned yellow and pink again, and it started raining glass.

"OW!"

Avelion looked at her, confused. "Whats going on?" He asked. Why shouldn't I have the power? Probably that demon. He thought, annoyed. So Shali gets all the good stuff, all the things that make it harder to kill HER, but I get nothing. Figures. Avelion thought, sighing. "That is true, girl." Shali said, sighing. "Of course, Av's not gonna like this." Shali pinched the bridge of her nose, annoyed. "Why did I have to have a emotionally unstable brother?" She muttered.

Aisse pointed at the ground, and a huge fleshling appeared, growing until it formed a shield between them and the rain.

Noticing Ave's apparent annoyance, Nova looked at him, an sighed. "Chill out...it's not personal. Just...business." He explained.

The flesh dagger returns to Aisse's hand.

Avelion glared. "What, did a demon say I couldn't or something?" He asked. "Actually, YES Avelion."

"Exactly..." Nova said in agreement with Ave's comment.

"Oh my go- I'm so sorry." Avelion said. He ran intoa alley way, and started hitting his head against the wall. "I can't believe I was so STUPID! Stupid, stupid, stupid! Now she probably never will talk to me ever again!" He muttered to his self.

Back where the others where, a five year old little girl stepped out of the shadows. "I've been told to tell you this:
There is a man that dies in order to save a world. He is supposedly immortal, unable to die, but for this one time, he CAN. He dies during a hurricane, but doesn't stay dead long. One of you is that man." She said, disappearing into thin air.

"Wait...you're a guy, Aisse?" Nova asked. He was kidding, but he wasn't going to believe that phooey.

*A regulst bit Nova where it hurts. A lot.*

Nova poofed before the creature bit any harder.

The creature poofed with him.
"Ha!" Aisse said, and started laughing uncontrollably.

"Did no one else notice that girl?" Shali asked, biting her lip.

Nova, un-entertained, stabbed a clawed hand through the beast's head, igniting it's brains in a fiery blast, and yanked it off. He held up its corpse, and looked it in the face. "Armor, jackass," he told it, and dropped it. He then walked to Aisse, took his hand, and rubbed the blood on her shirt a little. "Was that funny to you?" He asked sternly.

"Yep." She said, and walked through him, literally. She went over to the Regulst, and turned it into a fleshling.

Avelion sat in the alleyway, holding a knife. He slid it under a band on his wrist, the cut the band. The band fell to the ground, showing the word: Vipers. He tied back his hair, and hid in some bushes.

"Hey, you want this one, Nova?"

"Well...it wasn't. Try **** like that again, and I will be sure you pay." Nova said coldly to Aisse's answer.

Shali sighed. "Girl, I agree with Nova. I'll help him make sure of that, if need be."

((Aisse didn't do that. The weather did. It's not her fall the Regulst thought Nova tasted good. She offered him the fleshling, though.))

"Why should we bother?" Nova asked, grinning. "If I remember correctly, she put herself on quite a leash. We won't have to exert energy to make her pay." He held out his hand. "Give me the flesh thing, and learn to hold your tongue."

((Yes, but you still laughed at an obvious ego maniac and your superior, than tried to walk off after a cocky comment.))

((Heh. Think about it. She's sure enough that she's willing to do all that. And she's not all that incorrect. Heh. I love this character.))

She condensed the fleshling, and handed it to Nova. "I grant you ownership of this fleshling. Remember, they only understand simple words, but you can make them do anything with thoughts. Thought control is alot easier, too."
