A War Torn World- Day 5

Nova chewed his lip a little. Not nervously, just bored. "Sure...why not?" Nova said.

"What do I do?"

Shali knew what was about to happen. "Avelion, go away until I come get you."

Nova withdrew his knife, and tossed it to Aisse. He pulled out the scroll, and tossed that as well. "Shali, you take it from here." He said, yawning.

((Takin a shower. BRB))

Shali looked at the girl. "You have to mortally wound yourself, then draw the symbol with your blood. Try to do it right the first time, and go for the stomach so that you have time to do it." She said, heart racing as the image of when she did it flashed through her mind. Avelion watched from an alley way, eavesdropping.

"The fleshling orb will grow if its owner dies, so I grant you ownership of this fleshling." Aisse said, and handed Shali the orb of flesh. She then stabbed herself, and used the knife to draw the symbol on the wall.

((I'm a sick, sick, bastard, aren't I?))

Avelion watched in horror. "That's what Shali did?" He whispered, terrified. Shali stared. She's braver then me... And so much better then me probably to...

((Yourself? If any blood gets on it, say an improper drop, the seal is ruined. If you're bleeding, not the best idea.))

Aisse's vision faded, and she died.

Shali shut her eyes, and waited. I wonder if she feels the pain... I can't remember if I did.. Avelion stared in horror, and ran into a closer alley way. "I hope that I don't get caught.."

"Avelion...go away." Nova said to him.

In the nether, Aisse awoke, surrounded by the dark. The man in the all black suit came out and stared at her.

Avelion was startled. "How'd you sneak up on me?"

"Hello, I assume you are the master, then?" Aisse said, trying to sound respectful.

"I didn't sneak up on you, Ave, your heart is beating so damn loud, I could hear it for miles." Nova said.

In the nether, the being only stared at Aisse. "Rise." It commanded.

Shali leaned against a wall, trying not to throw up or think.
Avelion glared. "I wanted to know what Shali did when she.." He trailed off, running off.

She does. She watches him, respectful.

The being walks forward, and looks her in the eye. It doesn't speak, but walks around her once, as if though inspecting her. It nods once, and returns to the darkness. "VERY WELL..." the voice boomed. "GO BACK TO THEM. AS WITH SHALI, LISTEN TO NOVA. HE IS YOUR SUPERIOR. UNDERSTOOD?!"

((Aisse will hear the voice all dark, loud and ominous until the veil is removed later on.))

Shali sat down. "At least no ones around this time... I wont have to deal with people being angry about her decision."

"Understood." She said, as she returned. She awoke. "That... was... Amazing."

Shali looked at her. "Welcome back to the world of the living." She joked, smiling. Avelion came back. "Hi." He said, going up onto the roofs.

"Yeah..." Nova said. "How can she think it was so cool when she still has the veil?" Nova asked himself. "Well...welcome to the little team." Nova said to Aisse.

"Hmm... Okay, Nova, do you want the fleshling power? Designing one can be fun. Especially when you kill to get the required starting flesh."

"Huh. I guess that monsters prophecy wont come true after all. Not much has happened recently... Except for the thing with the rain."
