Day One

"An old book my master gave me, I need to study it's techniques." He says, continuing to the tome, but allowing Annette to read if she wished.

Annette gets the signal to quit bothering him, but she finds herself frustrated when she can't understand the characters on the page. Reading was never a skill she needed, so the odd black lines seemed foreign to her.

Baxter walks up behind Annette and says in a soft voice, "I understand that you reason to underestimate me so far, but I possess knowledge that you may have some interest in, I would be willing to teach you anything that you want to know."

Lysp quickly changes into a half-dragon, and plods over to Zarkeloth and peers over his shoulder, "May I?"

She peers over at Baxter, a hint of suspicion growing in her mind. "Teach me what these lines are," she says, pointing at the words on the tome.

Baxter grins "Well first off, lets not be intrusive" He snaps his fingers to produce a copy of the tome "Ah there we go, the tome is about self control as well as magics- a pretty interesting read." Baxter motions for Annette to follow

Shon seems to be highly puzzled at this newcomer, staring at him with no trace of his earlier smile.
Vicheryn, however, leans against a tree, looking fairly tired.

"Now now, we need not be copying my book" Zarkaeloth burns the copy Baxter made with a spark of electricity. "Do not manipulate my tome again."

"Or I'll murderificate you." Liron grins darkly, twirling his staff.

"Murderificate? That sounds-" Zarkaeloth pauses, his charm glowing pure white.

"Violence is not the answer!"

((Who could have imagined one of my characters would ever say that?))

Kyran adds, "Violence is sometimes the answer. Just not now."

"The boy is speaking sense."

"Sure it is!" Liron grins.

Zarkaeloth ignores the madness and continues with his tome.
