Day One

"Quite likely. I still insist this is a bad idea, by the way, that city doesn't like my city."

"We shall be fine. The people of both cities know me, though in varying guises."

Shon grins a little and nods.

Annette held the apple close to herself, appreciating the gift greatly. She leaned over to give Shon a short hug, one of her tails wrapping themselves halfway around him within the duration of the embrace. "Thank you!" she said, bright eyed.

"Alright, if you lot really want my help. It'll cost you... something." Roy arches an eyebrow as he looks around, gaze settling on Lina.

"Cost you something, hm?" Lina crosses her arms, looking at him. "And just what might that something be? The drow already offered you magic weapons."
Liron twitches and glares. "Not, a drow."

Shon gives her a small grin, and a glint of happiness and something else briefly appears in his eyes. "Welcome."

"Shon and I would appreciate a little assistance as well."

"Magic weapons are easy. ~I~ can give myself so called... magic, weapons. But I'll only tell you my price once I figure it out. For now, I'll help you." He says this in an almost teasing manner.

"Great, deal!" Liron speaks up before Lina can say anything, grinning. Lina, however, looks decidedly unnerved.

Roy smiles, perhaps he meant it to be disarming, or maybe not. But to the normal eye it looks unnaturally scheming. As if *knowing* something no one else does but refusing to say it because he finds it funny.

"Let's be friends, okay?" She claps her hands together, ears perked up. "You're Shon, right? I heard them say you were Shon. I like that name, it's really nice. I'm Annette, but I think you've heard that already." She smiled brightly, seemingly oblivious to the other conversations going on around her.

Shon smiles and nods, and seems to struggle with something for a moment before it passes.

"You not mean... I sorry..."

Annette then seems to notice Shon's speech pattern, and makes an inference from the way he acted to come to the conclusion that he might have been a little slower than most. It meant nothing to her, for kindness was kindness and she had no time for petty human judgments. "Mean? Me? Well, maybe sometimes. Nothing to be sorry about, silly." She pats the taller man on the shoulder, brimming with happiness now that she had acquired a new friend.

He gives her a big smile, and quickly wraps her into a tight hug.

"Which way are we going again?" Kyran asks.

"...Lady, do we look like we carry gold around? I'm pretty sure Lysp would eat it with we did." Liron looks amused as he says this, smirking.

Annette hugs him back, a couple of her tails repeating the action. "Yay! Friends!"

Zarkaeloth only smirks, he holds his charm close at hand. ((Apparently it wants Zarkaeloth to be Tablecloth...))

"So, where are we going again? You might've already told me, but the adorability of Shon made it slip my mind." She looks pointedly to Zarkaeloth, swishing her tails back and forth.
