Day One

"I don't . The forest is my friend, and I am its friend as well. I talk to the trees and they listen. The trees talk to me, and I listen." He smiles serenely.

The young man nods slowly. "You are, friends with the trees, then?" He somehow manages to still look rather distrustful.

((He has a character thingy already. Though it's pretty sparse I grant you. Meet Royastlin.))

"Yes. It is a mutual and beneficial relationship. It also means that I am welcome here despite my necromantic powers."

Lysp transforms into a smaller swifter dragon than that of Zarkeloth, but looks rather fragile, and he darts ahead to the forest, picking up Liron with him and flipping him onto his back. "Thought this would be a little bit easier on the other." He smirks as his wings make almost no sound at all.

Rylini grimaces "I will -not- have others carry me..." She jumps off of his back, and the shadows from the ground surround her, and then gather at her back, making a pair of wings that look like they should not be able to achieve flying, but then takes to the air.

"I am used to the trees. They hide more behind their leaves then anything else, and are not as obvious as a rock, or a dwelling." He leans casually against the tree, his muscles still tense, ready for action.

"This forest wonders why you are here."

"Hiding, training, and waiting." Says this as if it were obvious.

"This forest wonders why." If he looked very closely, he might notice that the boy's eyes were glowing a faint blue.

"Entertaining myself, until someday when the blood of my enemies come to my blade." He narrows his eyes at the boy a little before looking off to where he had heard the commotion at the forest edge.

"This forest knows the ones who enter... This forest says that they may come here soon, so I must wait." The glow ceases, and the boy smiles a strange smile.

He leans away from the tree, planting his feet in a position that would look like he's ready to bolt. "If it's trouble, they'll have to catch me first."

Lysp is first to reach the tree line, and he says softly to Liron. "Heh... old memories, reminds me of when we first met. Hard to believe that its already been so long." He hovers into the forest making little to no noise, and keeps an eye out for others that might be there.

Rylini is right behind Lysp, and touches down onto a soft bed of leaves on the forest floor, the wings on her back dispersing back into dark power and gradually soaking it's way back into the shadows around her.

All the paths, and most of the hidden ones as well, seem to lead them towards a certain area.

((Note: THe forest is only leading player characters. THe armies and such get the 'normal' paths back.))

Liron rolls his eyes at Lysp. "You could've brought the pretty girls with us..." he complains teasingly as he adjusts his position. "And you could've used a rest, as well." Liron smirks at his friend.
Lina seems to have no problem being carried by the half dragon, which is odd, considering that he is pretty much a complete stranger to her.

Lysp glances up at the mage. "Are... are you saying that you want to flirt with the -little girl-, I've seen you stoop to some pretty low levels my friend, but never that far, geez Liron." He then smirks at him playfully, and looks around, glancing at the various paths in front of him, and looks back at Rylini, "So, which way death mage?"

Rylini walks briskly up to Lysp's side, and glances at the various paths, actually quite unsure of which one to pick. "This one." She picks a random path and begins to walk down it, not having a second thought of waiting up fr the others.

"An offer? To whom? Who is coming that the trees themselves would speak to them?" Sounds mildly curious, raising his right eyebrow.

"The trees will speak through me. They are a group with potential to stop the war." The boy adjusts his spot to make it more comfortable.

"This doesn't concern me. I'll leave then." He doesn't wait for the boy to say anything before he begins his forest acrobatics and seems to disappear into the lush greenery.

"Okay then."

Whoever happens to be fastest will find themselves in another clearing. This one has a definite sense of power to it.

Vicheryn stops in this clearing, sensing the aura of power. She seems highly frustrated that she cannot communicate something, as well as curious about the distance between the army's energy and the group's growing farther apart. She readies her own energies, slightly suspicious as to the relative ease of the group's getaway.

"She's no little girl, she's a blossoming young human lady. Humans don't live as long as Darklings, recall?" Liron smiles teasingly, tapping Lysp.

The young man silently circles back, getting higher ground among the trees, and watching the boy. Curiosity overtaking his normal tentativeness as he perches high in the trees, inclining his ear to hear as much as he can.

Vicheryn stealthily comes up behind Liron and gently hits him in the back of the head, moving away before he can retaliate.

The boy's eyes glow again. "Greetings. This forest bids you to sit and rest. Water and food can be provided if you wish."
