Ceria-Day One

Earan presses the panel and takes the list, rolling it up and sticking it in his pocket.
((LOL. "READ IT FOOL!" Mr. T style!))

As he does so, a panel opens behind him. "Good. That's one down, four to go." A path of lights flickers down the revealed hall.

They appear to have many, many spots to sign, and are obviously forms agreeing to certain trainings.

The father signs the forms, not bothering to read them very closely.

He continues, quickening his pace a little.

Bob sighs, and turns back to the first page. "I'm sorry, but I must ask you to read these closely. It's the law." He grimaces. "I know, it's annoying, but I would face rather unfortunate consequences. Anything you wish to ask me, ask away!"

Three turns later, he comes across a door. "Okay, this is the easy part. It should be the fourth code on the list. Once you have the Crown, I suggest you wear it. I should be able to use it like a projector for my own talent from here."

"On you go!"

He inputs the code quickly, trying to hurry now.

The door unlocks, revealing a glass dome, with some kind of technological circlet in it. "There she is." There is a small handle on one side of the dome, with a keypad beside it. "Sixth code."

"What happened to the fifth?" He asked, inputting the code.

"We'll be using it later, for the ring." The entire dome sort of splits, sliding into the floor.

Lara walks cautiously into the building, looking carfully for any signs of trouble.

He sighs, reading through them.

"I don't thi- Oh SHIT, quick get in!" with that, a metal door begins to close in the entrance, and Lara grabs Kyri and pulls her in.

He gently grabs the circlet, putting it on his head. "Where to now?"

It becomes apparent that each training session will be difficult for Eda, and her parents will have to be there for some of them, as support and aid if she messes up to badly.

As he puts on the Crown, a vague buzzing fills his ears, and the rooms lights go out, then on again. "Oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about!" Kaley says, and he can hear the motions of doors opening. One of the walls slides out, revealing a pathway. "Down that hall, take the second left turn. I'm gonna get everything ready. Yeah!" Kaley seems to be extremely excited from the power of the Crown.

"Careful!" She says, sliding in on her own, as Lara grabbed open air.

As the door finished closing, Lara turned around seeing a "new" building, with lots of turrets poised at them, and their disguises disparated.

((Not exactly. No human tech, nor any human foci save for her own, could stop Kyri's spectrum shift. Now, we DO have tech that sees through it. Kay?))

He nods, signing the rest.

"Okay," he said, following her instructions and getting weirded out by Kaley.

((That's what I ment))

"Very good. Now, I'd like to see a demonstration of her capabilities, so I can plan her training sessions accordingly. She will be working with me personally, of course." Bob says, nodding to Eda.

In front of him, doors open. "The ring and the gun are in those rooms. You'll need code eight for the gun. Careful, there is a tripwire set up in front of it's stand. Ooh, I wonder what this does!" Kaley says, and you hear a sort of crunching noise from way down the hall. "Oops. Well, that wasn't important, anyway."

"Huh. Well now, isn't this surprising."

Lara's arm instantly turns into a shield, covering both her and Kyri.

Eda focusses, and a small tree starts to sprout beside her, and start growing. Five minutes later, and it appears to be about a year old.
