Ceria-Day One

"It's fun. There are people from all over in there, just waiting to meet you."

Eda looks, if possible, even more frightened.

A sigh comes through the speaker. "No buts. He'll be out any moment to greet you. Earan, you ready?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Yes. You're close enough you can walk. Here he comes!"

A man, a bit on the large side, comes out of the gates smiling. His hair is short, his suit very expensive, and his shoes overly shiny. "Well, you asked for Bob Willikins, and you got him! Where is she?" He asks in a friendly voice.

His cell phone rings. "I'm very sorry, give me a moment, government types get mad if they wait."

"He'll be on about a minute, go in now." The drone buzzes quietly, a small communicator dropping out onto Earan's head.

He covertly grabs it as if scratching, and heads to where he needs to go.

Eda stays hidden behind her parents, who are waiting patiently.

As he enters the building, some lights flicker, as if showing him which turns to take. "Here we go. Follow the lights."

"Well, that was pointless. I'm very sorry, now, is she the one?" Bob says, returning to the Drow family.

He follows the lights, moving calmly but quickly.

They nods, moving to the side to show their daughter.

He comes up to a door that looks like it should be locked. "Through there."

Bob looks closely at her. "Well, then. What are her foci?" he asks, as he presses a button on his watch.

The door makes a hissing noise, and that portion of the wall slides in just a bit.

He tries to open the door, looking a little more nervous.

The whole wall slides back, revealing a gleaming metal hallway. Further in can be two paths, on left, one right. The right side lights flicker.

"Healing is her secondary, and as for her Major..." A plant moves to wrap itself around Eda's hand, leaving no need to finish the sentence.

He heads down the right, following the flickering lights.

"A nature focus?!" Bob seems genuinely surprised and kneels down to look Eda in the eyes.

In front of Earan, a small drone hovers by. It appears to, for some reason likely relating to Kaley, be completely oblivious to his presence. "Okay. We're gonna grab the codes and the Crown first, they're closest. To your left is a panel, place your hand on it and turn left, then slide up."

He does so, wondering what will come next.

Eda looks rather frightened, the plant tightening it's hold.

"Calm, child. I will not hurt you." He looks into her eyes, as if seeing through them. "I see. Clever Kaley. Very clever. Well! If you pull it off, our loss!" He stands, grinning. "I'll need you to sign some forms, fingerprint some documents, and such. I'll have a drone bring them." He presses a button on his watch.

Kaley's drone is oddly silent.

The panel makes the wall simply... disappear. Through it is a doorway, pure black. "In there, and think happy thoughts. I mean it. Happy thoughts."

He thought about his mom as he walked through, and all the fun he had, the pancakes in the morning.

A sort of static-y feeling passes over him as he steps through. "There. Main reason I can't do this. I couldn't do that." The list sits on it's little podium, as if religiously guarded, which, to some of these people, it was. "Step one, complete. There's a panel underneath it. Take the paper off while pressing that."

"Yes. This is, perhaps, the safest place on the planet." He grins as a drone arrives, carrying a stack of papers, which he hands to her parents.

They take the papers, looking through them.
