A war torn world- Day 4

"But there is a way. I heard of a well that can bend the laws of space and time. You can use it to save your race"

"In theory, I could also use it to skip this bit, you know. And it's probably jut myth."

"It is. But there is only one way to find out if it's true."

"You're a liar Trent ((And a godmodder too...))." Nova said. "There is no such well. Why you question progress irritates me. You just don't want Shali to leave, because you have feelings for her. Your story has more holes than nekos on Arceliant." Nova said, knowing the analogy would not get to him.

((The nekos comment is only a dumb joke))

Shali grabbed the knife, and stabbed her stomach. Quickly she drew the symbol.
((There. I was putting it off because I was going to feel guilty about doing this to her, but now I can get it off my head. Sorry, your argument failed levi.))

((It was a lose lose situation for me, Levi. Feel guilty about doing this to her, or feel guilty about forcing her to pass up a way to do as she wanted, and enough power to avenge her father.))

"There we go, not so hard now, right?" Nova asked Shali, almost affectionately, like one would his own child. He was holding Shali by the chin, and smiling, almost...kindly. He scooped her up into his arms,a nd waited for her to die. "No worries, you'll be with HIM soon." He whispered.

Shali could barely see anymore, and soon everything went dark. She thought she was awake on something, but couldn't tell what. "From the pain in my head, I'm betting I'm dead." She said, looking around.
((There, she is temporarily dead for you.))

"That's not pain child, that's power. As of now, your head is being filled with knowledge, my greatest weapon. Come, have a seat." The voice beckoned, and in the darkness, a chair of sorts appeared.

((It is pitch black, except a small pillar of bright red light where you are standing.))

"No, I'm pretty sure it's pain from being near a demon. Stupid race problems." Shali said, sitting down and trying not to throw up.

"FINE...INSIST THAN." The voice said. "TELL ME CHILD, WHY'D YOU MAKE THIS PACT?"

"Something is happening. TRANSPORT!" Kallista said, and she appeared beside Nova. "What is happening, Demon servant!?" Kallista said, lightning dancing on her fingertips.

"Because I wanted to save my race, and because I know that my world is going down hill. It's full of sin and evil, you can see it every where. And my father died to make a better future for me, so I want to be part of all of my worlds future. also, my mother died so that I could live. I won't let that death be in vain." Shali said, tears stinging her throat.

"Shali is dead, by a Guard's knife." Nova said to the visitor. "And, I am no demon servant."

All the while, in the Nether:
"NOBLE OF YOU." The voice said. "ARE YOU AWARE OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF THIS PACT?" IT asked. "DID YOU KNOW OF WHAT YOU ARE TRULY DOING, OR DID YOU EMPTILY MAKE A PROMISE FOR POWER?"

"I hear you, Demon! What have you done to her!?" Kallista yelled, hearing the demon speak.

((The demon aint here, dipstick, it's in another dimension))

"Sir, you're acting absurd." Nova said. He made a tear fall from his eye. "My friend just died from the irresponsible hand of a guard, and you're yelling nonsense!"

"That would work, if I was normal. I am Kallista, and a powerful mage, I hear the creatures of other dimensions. Don't make me hurt you. Tell me what your master has done to her!"

"I have no idea what you're talking about?!" Nova yelled at him. "I am no demon servant!"

"I knew what I was doing." Shali said,mostly sure. "I don't want or need power, just due to my race I have more then I want, but what I said earlier was true, and I know some of the consequences. I know that I can't age any more, and that I'll live forever, but I also know that I am in eternal service to you. It doesn't matter to me though, as I am preventing my parents deaths from being in vain." Shali said, now completely sure. She would never let her parents deaths be in vain. "My father knew a demon, was friends with him. He wouldn't be mad at this. And my mother always approved of demons. At least, I've been told this." There was sorrow in her voice, sadness for a life she never had.

"Do you think that I have not heard of you, Nova? When you live for over 30,000 years, you begin to become known by most mages. I tolerate your presence. Now answer my question!" Kallista yelled, her eyes turning completely black.

((Kallista is a girl. And the leader of Natan.))

"shali don't do it please"

"nova killed shali or did the guard or am i gunna have to kill em both"

*grabs a kunai from his pouch*

"some ones gonna pay for this"

((Nova, I swear to god if you don't hurry up and rez my character I will be forced to hurt you.))

Shali sighed. "They're doing something stupid, aren't they?" She asked, annoyed.

Nova only laughed at Kallista, gently setting down Shali. He stood up, and his eyes turned black with red centers. "You pompous mages, and your claims of infinite knowledge." He said, in a completely different tone of voice. A serious one, with a hint of evil. "Shali CHOSE to make the same pact as I, and soon, she will be reborn, in my master's image." Nova said, smirking.

While in the Nether:
From the shadows came a pale man, in pitch black suit, tie and all. This was not Nova's master's true form, but a prjection he liked to use. "IF YOU ARE AWARE OF THE CONSEQUENCES, AND STILL DID IT, YOU ARE QUITE NOBLE. I CANNOT BRING YOUR RACE BACK, BUT IF YOU CAN FIND THEM IN OTHER DIMENSIONS, FEEL FREE TO ASK MY ASSISTANCE IN A MIGRATION." The voice said, still as rumbly an dark as before. "ALSO, I WILL GIVE YOU A REBIRTH, BUT FROM NOW ON, YOU ARE NOT SHALI. YOU MAY HAVE OLD FRIENDS CALL YOU THAT, IF YOU WISH, BUT YOU WILL HAVE A REBORN NAME SOON ENOUGH. FROM TODAY ON, YOU LIVE FOR ME. FOR NOW, THOUGH, I COMMAND YOU TO RETURN TO NOVA. HE IS YOU SUPERIOR, UNDERSTOOD?" The man asked. "FINISH ANY BUSINESS YOU HAVE BACK HOME, AND I'LL CONTACT YOU WHEN I NEED YOU. ALSO, FROM NOW ON, YOU AND I ARE LINKED TELEPATHICALLY. THIS LINK ALLOWS YOU ACCESS TO SOME OF MY POWER. LET FEW KNOW OF MY EXISTENCE." The man walked over to Shali, and put his hand in her hand. On her hand, in the palm, appeared the symbol she drew. He then leaned in to her face and said loudly. "WAKE UP!"
