Area 15

I put in the directions to the Walmart and ready my gun for any ambitious zombies.

Shade hits the gas again, frowning as he drives over a few zombies.

"Nice." I say, blasting away a zombie that would have ended up in the window.

"Hmm? Oh, that. How far is it to the store that was sprung from the bowels of hell?"

"Not far, turn up here." I say, holding a hand out at a zombie about to jump on the truck. Lightning fires out as I take a swig of my Root Beer.

Shade turns, popping the parking brake to put the vehicle into a smooth brake.

Ben becomes alert again, and waves his staff, creating a field of energy, directed away from the truck that flings all zombies relatively near a good twenty to thirty feet away. "If we're gonna do this, now's the time."

"Probably. All right, who wants to do what? I have to pick up a few things while I am in there."

"Shade, you oughta focus on hotwiring that truck. Some of us should get supplies like food, and blankets, and we'll need medical supplies too."

"Geez. Not even a challenge. All right, I have a list of things I need picked up, since SOMEONE wants that piece of shit as our ride."

"I want room for all of our supplies. Chris, Ben, your with me. Helpless civilian, Shali, keep Shade unzombified." I say, holding out my hand for the list as I make sure my weapons are properly attached to my body.

Ben swings out of the back of the truck, and onto the ground in one sweeping motion, the end of his staff turning into a spear blade as he moves. He then takes a battle stance, preparing to cover their entry.

Shade hands Jaime an interesting list, divided in half. In the first half, it reads:

1. As much wire, both insulated and not they have.
2. Lots of gum.
3. Socket wrench set.
4. Car jack
5. Anything with a plasma screen for parts.
6. WD-40
7. Wrench kit
8. Towel
9. Solder Kit
10. Liquid Droppers
11. Motor oil
12. Rags
13. Gojo


Underneath that list, scrawled out are the words: useful chemicals hospital, with certain chemicals written out on the bottom of the page.

"Got it. Chris, ready something blasty. No fire, and careful with lightning. Ben, once we're inside hold back on the force, don't want to blow everything into a broken pile."

"I'll go deal with the alarms on the truck then. Shouldn't be too hard," Shade mutters, swinging out of the truck and glancing at the truck Jaime had picked out.

I have picked out a truck that originally carried donuts. Yes. Donuts.

"Oh gods... this is going to get annoying." Without waiting for his escort, he wanders over to said vehicle, examining the security.

Ben nods, and then leads the way into the store, but before entering, looks back towards Jaime and Chris to see if they're following.

Shali drags her civilian friend with her to follow shade. "Donuts? Seriously? He couldn't choose one that had held food or furniture?"

The Walmart is filled with the zombies of employees and shoppers- so basically, the universe.

"Blow down the doors, then Chris follows through with the blast."

Ben mutters under his breath for a few seconds, and then the glass just... disappears. "No reason we can attempt not to be heard or seen."

"But blasts are fun, I like this plan, just toss me a spray and pray or a shotgun and we'll get this started."

"I.... Chris, can you ever do anything silently? Oh wait, nevermind." Ben climbs through the door, and goes to the next, doing the same thing to the glass in it.

Shade disconnects whatever alarms happen to be in place upon the vehicle with surprising skill, before muttering and turning to the door. He runs his hands up and down the door for a moment, before pressing slightly on three areas and tapping the door, causing it to swing slowly open. "Child's play..."

"Great. Awesome. Get it working now."
