Day One

Vicheryn shuffles along with them, wrapping herself a little tighter in her cloak.

((How does Zarkeloth know Rylini's name? She hasn't said her name yet. XD))

Lysp looks at Liron and grins smugly, reverting back to normal human language. "Hey, she tried to stab me! And besides, her 'minion' threw a bolt of magic at me, so I needed to replenish myself!" He then glares back at the mage, still glowing, "You about done there, we need to get a move on."He then looks at the half-dragon and nods, "I'm a shapeshifter, and Liron would be able to understand you as well if we were in your home planet, anyways, lets go."

Rylini glares at those around her, the magic slowly dying down around her, and glares again at the dragon, and says nothing. Then she turns to Lysp, "Fine I'll come along, but upset me, and it'll be the last thing you'll do." She snaps the book shut, and puts it in a pouch at her side, and pulls her staff from her back, holding it steady.

Liron grins, creepily cheery. "Right! Let's get a move on, then!" He starts off towards Tanat, his cape wrapping itself around him. His staff, strapped across his back, glows brightly, providing light under the dense cover of the trees.

Lina carries James on her shoulders as the walk through the busy marketplace, her hands gripping his knees to prevent him from falling. The little boy giggles happily, staring at the bright colors of the market. Lina pauses by a stand of sweet fruit, then reaches for the pouch of money at her hip. She quietly counts out six coins, passing them to the merchant, and takes two of the fruits, passing one up to the little boy on her shoulders, and keeping the other for herself.

Vicheryn follows, still shuffling along rather than talking normal steps. She seems hunched over, and she begins to nibble on a snack from one of her pockets, a large part of her wishing the others were as silent as she.

Zarkaeloth follows, pulling on his hood and glancing at the long road ahead. Then catches up with the others.

Lysp runs up a little bit and catches up with Liron, grinning, "Aye-aye! Let's go!"

Rylini uses her staff like a walking stick and glares at the rest of them, walking at a quick pace to catch up. "Bah."

Vicheryn continues to shuffle along, holding a purplish fruit in her gloved hand, disappearing into the darkness the cowl of her cloak provides.

Eventually, they come out near the city of Tanat. Liron pauses, overwhelmed by the noise of the bustling city. His eyes widen at the brightly colored garb of the people.

Vicheryn's head turns to look at Liron, before putting her food away and dabbing at her hidden face with a cloth from one of her pockets.

Zarkaeloth looks around carefully scanning for food and other materials that would prove useful.

Lina pauses when she's about to walk by, James tugging her hair. "Look! They's gotta puppy! We can see tha' puppy, sissy?" Lina blinks, turning to look. "Oh, my..." she says softly, standing in what may very well be a little bit of shock. "Jamsies, dear, I don't think that's a puppy. Perhaps we should look at puppies elsewhere?" James bends his neck to have his face dangling upside down in front of his sisters, pouting. "Pleeeeaase?"

Vicheryn points at them, looking sinister and mysterious in her cloak and cowl, not one inch of her skin to be seen.

Liron looks up. "Oh! Natives! Come, Lysp and companions, we should say hello!" He grins, silver eyes sparkling as the glow leaves his staff.

Lina meeps, glancing at the group. "Jamsies... Really, we should look at puppies elsewhere..." She sounds nervous, her hands going to the knees of the little boy, holding him on her shoulders. "Come on, let's go..."

Vicheryn shuffles over to them rather quickly, hooded face staring at them intently.

Lina meeps, looking at the woman. "Ah, hello..." she says softly, hands gripping her little brothers knees protectively. "I am Lina, it's... Nice to meet you, ma'am." She smiles a little, looking slightly nervous.

Vicheryn pats her on the head, but says nothing.

((She has a little boy on her shoulders, how would that work?))

((Would you prefer I slapped her in the face? Because I can.))

((I'm just asking how it would work? *Looks confused...* Um... *Frowns, slinks away.*))

((Fine. She pats the little boy's head. Growl.))

The little boy giggles, smiling at the lady. "Yer nice! I'm James!" He giggles happily, his eyes, the same silver as his sisters, wide and happy. Lina looks nervous. "Jaaamsiies, ma said we're not supposed to talk to strangers!" she tells the boy in a hushed whisper.

Zarkaeloth walks towards the natives. "Hello, I would like to know if you could point me in the direction where I could trade items?" he asks, hoping to be able to get some decent supplies.

Vicheryn continues to look at them, pointing to herself, and then showing a peaceful gesture.
