Day One

((Gaaah! *Was uplaoding Liron's image*))
Liron raises his staff in his hand, magic gathering, then releases a strong blast of force in an attempt to halt the fight. "Enough!" he calls, his voice strong and authoritative, silver eyes blazing. He moves closer to the boy, one arm wrapping around him comfortingly. "Lysp! Calm yourself!"

Each shadow that hits the shield is pushed away, dark lightning forming between them. The shield begins to fade. "Aaaaah!" the boy yells. He steps away from the touch and the earth rumbles ominously.

Lysp glances at Liron, and shrugs, "I'm trying to help!"

The energy from Liron's blast hits Rylini, but her magic shield takes the brunt of the blow, before the shield dissapates and the shadows continue pounding, and the skeletons advance, although before one can get there, one of them falters and falls apart. Rylini is now showing signs of incredible strain.

Liron takes a deep breath, moving his staff in a sweeping motion low to the ground. His lips move, though no sound comes out, as he silently prepares a spell of calming. His eyes drift shut as he focuses, though his furrowed brows betray his worry.
"Lady! Calm down! Lysp, get over here!" He shouts as he releases a wave of calming energy, his staff glowing brightly.

Cracks appear in the ground, threatening to open up and swallow them all indiscriminately. "Stop! Stopstopstopstop!" The boy yells repeatedly.

Lysp goes over to the boy and Liron, glancing back at the mage with worry, and right behind the boy's sheild, he creates a strong barrier out of himself.

Rylini shrugs off the calming spell, but the shadows begin to become wisps, and the skeletons disappear. She appears like she can only keep it up for a couple more minutes.

Liron turns towards the child. "Shh... Everything is going to be alright, okay? I promise. Just calm down, while I try to calm them down, okay? Calling the bears away might help." He smiles reassuringly, silver eyes sparkling, as his staff glows gently.

Vicheryn comes shuffling up, completely concealed within the folds of her cloak.

Lysp begins to take the beating of the shadows as he moves forward, and acid causes the shadows to dissapate even quicker.

Rylini's shadows are all but gone, and the rest of them vanish as she slumps into a heap on the ground, body splotched with black spots and raw patches where the acid hit, and also from the effects of using the magic.

"I didn't call them! Not on purp'se, at least." He says looking at them. "The for'st did." The bears keep an eye on the mage who had attacked them.

Liron sighs softly, moving over to the woman. He sets his staff to the side, kneeling down by her, and hovers his hands over her. His lips move silently in the words of a healing spell, his hands glowing with a soft, silver light that slowly flows over the woman's form. "Shhh, little one..." he says softly as he finishes the spell, light still flowing. "It's alright."

Vicheryn watches Liron impassively, making no movement ot help or speak.

The bears, upon realizing that the threat is gone, leave on their own. "I told her not to fight..." He says sadly. "Now this place is all unh'ppy!"

"From the fighting I sensed when I was traveling here, I assume it is normally unhappy, little one?" Liron turns his head to look at the child, the glow slowly fading from his hands as the spell completes itself.
Lina waves at her mother as she leaves her house, her little brother sitting on her shoulders. "Come on, Jamesie, let's go down to the market, yeah?" She tilts her head to look at the boy, who giggles and cheers at the mention of the market, With a grin, she starts walking.

((Aaaw, posts are getting short again... ))

"N't this part. This part is n'rmally good." He starts walking around, touching the damaged trees. He mutters a little rhyme under his breath as he does so, and the trees and ground begin to slowly heal.

Vicheryn walks up to the child, head cocked to the side, saying nothing. The child feels like the figure is looking into his very soul.

"D' you need healing too?" He asks, looking up from the ground he was busy healing.

Vicheryn says nothing, still watching.

"Ma'am? Please stop being creepy around the child, it's really not polite." Liron looks up at the woman, silver eyes glowing. He bends down, picking his staff back up and brushing it off. "I don't suppose anyone could direct me and my companion to the nearest city, could they? I'd like to see what all the fighting is about."

Vicheryn swivels her head, staring intently at Liron, before slowly raising one arm to point in the direction of the nearest town.

"It's a war. I don't know wh't started it." he says, returning to the ground.

"I see... Little one, would you like to come to the city with me? I could buy you a sweet from the market, if you like." Liron keeps his voice low and gentle, kneeling down to be at eye level with the small boy, smiling in a reassuring fashion. "Lysp, are you coming as well?"

He shakes his head quickly. "N' thank you." He says, backing up a bit.

Zarkaeloth appears from the shadows " I'll come along if you don't mind..."

"AAaigh!" The boy yelps at the sudden appearance.
