Welcome to the crazy. (Actually, at the moment, it's rather serious!)

"And you. Pardon my surprise, I have never met one of your kind before."

"Not unusual. Here, I'll get you a path on out." The jello shifts around, and a path opens up. "That leads off to a city or something."

Stonepaw follows it, sheathing his sword along the way.

Stonepaw walks up to it, wondering why they made a city out of clear material.

Stonepaw knocks on one of the walls.

The entire city rings a loud, clear, and low pitched note. Then a door opens where he knocked. The city looks empty.

He walks in, looking around.

Small spires of diamond are all over the place. each is about four feet high, and some have different shapes and patterns. All of them have a hole through the tip.

Stonepaw looks for people, knocking on the spires.

The holes glow. "Hello! What brings you to us, travelers?"

"Happenstance, friends, pure happenstance."

"Well then, please avoid stepping on us, for your own protection! The magics in the ground are still very strong."

"Stepping on you?"

"Yes! Wait, how tall are the spires now?"

"About 1.2 meters."

"Oh. Okay then! Just be careful around them. Wouldn't want the magic to get out and melt anyone!"

"Very well. May I know who I am speaking to?"

"You are speaking to the Tani. We are here to suppress the extreme magic in this area."

"Oh. I'm afraid I don't have much magic. My sword and my amulet are it...."

"Not that magic, the magic in the ground. Let us show you." The ground becomes transparent. Beneath them is a mass of green and yellow... stuff. It looks solid but moves like liquid.

"Oh my..."

"There was a magical... accident a few hundred years ago. When we came across it, we built this city and inhabited the spires. Eventually, the magic will settle and we can move it to somewhere that can help people."
