| This will be the place where any general info on Ceria will be put, so that it's officially stated.
1: Only humans have Foci magic. Any being that is at least 25% human will have any other form of magic they possess overridden by the Foci magic. 2: Other species have their own kinds of magic, such as Drow have ancestor magic, high elves have High magic, wood elves have their semi-druid magic, and so on. But you can't play a character with anything but human magic, so there's no point in trying. Thank you and have a nice day. 3: The possession focus gets no other foci, due to the fact that all other foci are tied to the body. They can use the non major foci of their victim, though. And the major, although this runs the risk of a control loss. 4: Mind Foci users can shield themselves from the outside, at a cost. When shielded, they cannot affect or read the minds of others, but they cannot be read or affected. Basically, they can't get out, but others can't get in. 5: Death and Nature were meant to be opposites of each other, but can work together. 6: Both Death and Nature Foci boost healing power, albeit in different ways. A healing from a Nature foci changes the mindset of the affected, causing heightened emotions, a desire for either sunlight, plants, or meat, depending on how the healing was done. A healing from a Death Focus, however, boosts immune systems five times their normal strength. So being healed by the Death focus can temporarily protect you from the kitri infection. Only temporarily, though. 7: The word "kitri" is not actually capitalized. Any time I've capitalized it has been by accident. 8: Anthren are commanders in the kitri military, leading whole groups of 74 soldiers. They keep order in their ranks via controlled infections in the soldiers. 9: When enough electricity is applied to a kitri, its head will not explode, but fall off. The bit that holds their head on is not evolved for high voltages. At all. 10: Currently, players in Ceria cannot have multiple characters. I plan to allow more than one character per player later. Kyri is my way of helping Mi'j have someone to roleplay with. 11: Mystic can boost foci, but not to the point where they beat the major of that foci. 12: Technology foci can do things when they are working with direct circuitry that most humans couldn't, such as cutting a piece of metal into two perfect halves with only their finger. 13: My basic Idea for the Shift Foci was "Physical Perfection, above and beyond our weak human bodies." 14: The kitri's religious beliefs, if they can be called such, are the reason that they can't combine technology and magic like humans. 15: The kitri are thaumavores, as in they eat magic. So not only are they after humans, they're after everything on the planet. They don't see humans as intelligent beings, just food. Tasty food, too. Sometimes nice food, but still food. And after being in space for so long, they're hungry. Very hungry. 16: The kitri language is unspeakable by humans. Even sound foci can't manage to speak it with any fluency. But the government is working on devices to attempt a minor translation, to hopefully know what will happen during and before an attack. 17: While the kitri have been attacking for only three years, humanity has had magic for nearly sixty. 18: The Nature focus can summon animals that would normally have no way to get to them. 19: The only form of teleportation available to humans is shadow transport, which is rare and difficult. 20: The research on the kitri teleportation tech is slow going, because not only does it use their advanced techniques, their belief system plays a role in the design as well. 21: It is possible to shadowport without being the major in it. Your mind just has to be borked. 22: Most foci have something called a Siphon. Siphons are abilities that allow the user to push the drain of using magic into the world around them. The most powerful of these is the Death Siphon, which siphons off almost all the drain into the ground and earth around the Death Mage. Fire Siphon: Flames not controlled by the mage may dim and go out, if they have not already been drain to power the magic directly. The difference here is the Siphon can also be used to restore energy, if slowly. Water Siphon: Water Siphoning causes natural ice to turn to mush, and water to begin to turn to gas. It cannot be used to gain power, unlike fire. Earth does not have a Siphon. Air Siphon: Arguably the most dangerous of Siphons, Air Siphoning causes the air to deplete, becoming basic atoms again. This can suffocate the unprepared Air Mage. Healing Siphon: Uniquely, the Healing Siphon causes physical pain to the user, but is the most efficient of all Siphons. Projection does not have a Siphon. Mystic Siphon: The Mystic Siphon drains magic right out of the air. Mystic foci become less effective in that area for a week or two. Light Siphon: Light Siphoning requires sunlight and is similar to Fire Siphoning, but cannot run out of power in the sun. Dark Siphon: More along the lines of Water Siphoning, the Dark Siphon pulls unused shadows apart. Mind Siphon: Two words. Psychic Vampires. Sound Siphon: Sound Siphoning creates an area of absolute silence, but is the least efficient Siphon. Energy Siphon: Creates entropy. Causes lethargic feelings as well. Technology Siphon: Technology technically lacks a siphon, but could rather be said to have an equivalent power. All Tech Mages can use this, not just the majors. Technology Mages can manipulate almost anything into an electronic device of some sort given a chance to enter a semi trance state. The best can do it without the trance state. Death Siphon: Arguably the most powerful Siphon, Death Mages can push the drain of using their power into anything, and anyone, around them. The effects are immediate, usually rotting and decay, possibly blackening of the earth. Shift lacks a Siphon. Nature Siphon: The Nature Siphon functions a lot like the Light Siphon in that it is technically infinite. Like the Light Siphon, it is slow but steady. As long as the Nature Mage is in contact with life, they will gain power. Weather Siphon: A Weather Mage has nearly limitless power during a natural storm. The bigger the better, but too much and they can fry themselves. Possession lacks a siphon for obvious reasons. Siphons are only available to those who have that focus as their major, with a few exceptions. 23: A person is a Mage of a focus only when they have a certain amount of control over the focus. None of the player characters could be considered proper Mages. A person is a mage of the focus if it is their major. Siphons are _controlled_ by Mages, and are simply _used_ by mages. ((Example: A properly trained Death Mage can concentrate their Siphon, literally stealing someones life, while a Death mage can only drain the area. 24: The Uber Rare foci are powerful, but not unlimited. They can be killed, held, knocked unconscious, and even Possessed. Mind foci are encouraged to stay away though. 25: My idea for technology was "Advantage, self and team support, and all the gadgets a super hero/villain could wish for/steal.

| Yep, this is the collected info that could be important to know, though, not a power description. | |
