Dragon Rule- The first battle

Safire laughed uncontrollably at this sight "Here I thought this was going to be a dull affair, but watching a badger successfully strangle a dragon is hilarious."

The dragon continues to thrash, slowly weakening.

The Aquaticus grins, its eyes glowing a bloody red. As the dragon weakens, it begins to siphon the darkness of the creature into itself. "This... It has never had such delight!" It yells, climbing onto the dragons back to help slice it open.

Safire got up, stretching then started drawing magic runes all around where the dragon was laying.

Sarillan drops her slingshot, leaping into the melee at last when the great beast’s tail comes in reach during it’s desperate thrashing. She stabs both of her daggers into the tail, arms wrapped around it, and holds on for dear life, slowly using them to climb her way up the monstrous creature’s back, scales scraping her skin even as it’s warm- no, not warm, but burning, almost- blood runs over her hands as she painstakingly pulls her way up, inch by inch, towards the others. She nearly loses her grip on her blades several times during the climb as the hot, slick blood coats her hands and daggers, making them slippery, and hard to hold. Eventually, halfling makes her way up to the others, out of breath, and tries to help in hacking away at the beastly creature.

The dragon roars in agony, thrashing to and fro as it gives one last desperate push, using it’s last remaining burst of energy, to attempt to throw off it’s attackers. It’s too weak to flee, and far too weak to fly away, but still, it gives it a good shot, roaring horrendously. Stonepaw can literally feel the vibrations rumbling through his- and it’s- entire body, most likely numbing his hands where they are wrapped around it’s throat, the roar nearly deafening to those around. It manages to rear up on to it’s hind legs, desperately flapping it’s wings and shaking itself to and fro again in one last bid for life. Yet, wounded as it is, it’s air being choked off in a death grip by the giant badger, it soon must return to all fours, shuddering and thrashing in it’s death throes, vibrant purple eyes slowly dimming as it’s last vestiges of life slip through it’s grasp, at last. It gives one final shudder, before it lies still, wings still twitching convulsively. Those who helped in the fight hear a thin, whispering voice echo through their consciousness as it’s soul drifts away into the void.

“Thank you...”

Sarillan gasps for breath, letting herself slide off the dragon’s back in order to land on the ground. “So... It’s dead... then? Someone should check... Someone... Other than me. Maybe cut it’s head off... Yeah, that might work...” She has to stop to breath several times, the climb and fight having worn the miniscule neko out quite a bit. Her face is red from the exertion, and she wipes her brow with a bloody forearm, grimacing only faintly when she realises her error in judgement. “Two down... One to go...” she mutters, though if it’s to herself, or no one, is hard to tell. “Whoo...” She breathes out slowly, shutting her eyes. “What next?”

((450 words. Sorry Shade, really couldn't manage 666. As as a side note- everyone roll to see if they're temporarily deafoned. Yes, even Safire and Zorvan, though knowing those two characters, theirs would be, like, .5 milliseconds. At best.))

The magical array Safire drew glows brilliantly upon the dragons death, Safire pulls out a small vial which quickly filled with a brilliant glowing liquid glowing in the raw color of magic. He drew his sword and neatly severed with surgical precision the beasts head from the base of it's spine to ensure his small flask would fill.
((I don't really see why, but whatev. It's not like he can't regrow his ears entirely in the time Shali mentioned.))

Zorvan allows his ears to be deafened. He never uses them anyway.

The Aquaticus begins absorbing the rest of the corpse, albeit rather slowly.

Stonepaw still has a death grip on the dragon, seeming not to realize it is dead, eyes completely the color of blood.

Safire yawns, and doesn't even realize this. "So where's this next dragon, I may be immortal but I don't have forever."

"What?! Speak up!" Sarilan, deafened from the roar, doesn't seem to realize she is yelling. And, as she can't read lips, she has absolutely -no clue- what anyone is saying.

Safire, unaware of her predicament switched to the language of the gods which all living things deaf or otherwise can understand, "I'm bored, want to kill dragon now. Where is it?"

((he thinks she just failed to understand english, but it'll work))

"How the heck should I know?! We only found this one because of that damned compass! And we JUST killed this one!"

"What? No!"

"Let me try something."
Safire snaps his fingers, and the entire universe flashes black and then white then goes back to normal. This cures everyone in the universe of deafness and muteness, by making it against the laws of physics to be deaf or mute.
"Did that work?"

She rubs her ears, which lay flat against her head. "Ach. Yes. That feels -weird-."

"Um.. Deep purple. Huge, at least twice the size of this one, with ridges over the eyes. He's very spikey. That help?"

Safire attempts to cast magic missiles at it, but the spell fizzles. "Hrm....maybe if we found a rock, a bigass rock. Or maybe something like a cinder-block."

"...What's a cinder-block?"
