Sarillan grumbled about her match being interrupted.

"..Depth charges?"

Stonepaw looks bored and stumps out on deck to see what's going on.

"...Oh. Wonderful. Explosives, just what we need."

"They were built to be used against well...metal boats that sail underwater."

"Metal boats? Sailing underwater? But wouldn't the people on those boats drown?"

"The metal goes all the way around keeping the water out."

"...But metal doesn't float! They'd sink! And how would they get in?"

Safire sighs, and pulls out a paperlike LCD screen showing videos of submarines. "It's technology."

She stares at it, confused.

"Well.... No..."

"Now think of the lid as the door, and have lightning push some oars making it sink or go up or whichever you want. Make it out of metal so it can go really deep and that's basically a submarine."

"But... How does lightning push oars?"

"Magnets, I'd have to build an electric motor I think for you to understand.."

"...You would've had a better chance explaining it to Rachel, at least..."

"It's the same kind of thing that keeps the sun from roasting this planet like a marshmallow."
