"It's what normally happens."

"True."

"Besides, why fight me?"

"It's a practice fight."

"This is not something we have where I am from."

"Then you might just want to watch this one.."

"All of our battles are practical. Fighting is instinctual, what we know cannot be taught, it can only be known."

"It is practice. To improve the fighting style, and get down to reflex."

"This makes no sense to me..."

"You're culture differs from ours. Tell me, do you take the defensive or offensive?"

"Whichever you prefer."

"I would like to know your personal preference."

While she is off-guard Varashen spins around, smacks her hand with the flat of his sword and holds the blade to her throat. "I thought we were practiceing," he smirks.

Stonepaw chuckles. "Frankly, I prefer the offensive, but I might break your blade."

She grabs the blade and flips him over her shoulder, rolling away. "I'm defensive. Shall we play?"

"Play?"

Sarillan grinned. "Play, fight, whatever!"

Stonepaw stares at her like she's insane.

Sarillan giggles. "What?"

"My people hold that battle must always be separate from fun."

Sarillan stares at him. "You're people are CRAZY! My village holds that everything must be enjoyed to it's fullest!"

Varashen throws the sword to the side and jabs several chi points, {trying to disable her.}

Sarillan grabbed his wrists as he was trying to jab her, twisted his arms over each other, and tossed him to the ground. Still holding onto his wrists, she stepped on his chest and pushed.

"Enough, both of you. What does fighting each other accomplish? Neither of you can hope to match the style and abilities of a dragon in combat, so why practice against each other?"
