Ulrich sets her down gently, moves a ways away, and turns into a large purple dragon, laying in the sun.

"...I'm not even going to ask.." Avelion comments, shaking his head.

Ulrich blows smoke at him, enjoying the sunshine.

Cynthia looks at him for a moment.

His voice rumbles in her head.
'What, Youngling?'

'Nothing.'

'I can get bigger. Want a ride?'

'No thanks, I"m good.'

'You okay?'

'Yeah.'

'You're just kind f staring. Do I have meat in my teeth again?'

'Nope.'

'Ho hum. When's the fun begin?'

'When this Chaos person lets us through into the Abyss.'

'Hmm... Are you SURE there will be no need for me?'

'Not really.'

'Well that's a little disappointing. Why am I even here, then?'

'I mean I'm not really sure, silly dragon.'

'SILLY! I am not!' He grows to double the size he was, glaring and blowing smoke.

Cynthia giggles. "Yes you are!" she says out loud, grinning.

"How?" The dragon rumbles, looking confused.

"Because you went all big when I called you silly!"

"I can get bigger."

"Of course you can!"

"So, if I don't serve any purpose, why was I called here?"
