"I'm stuck with the source of madmen and insanity, and been that way for the past million, although a good half of that was him sleeping, I will admit."

Shalki shook her head. "The only thing I'll ever regret about it is some of the orders I must obey." "Is the one you won't tell me one of those?" "Maybe."

"Think what you will."

"Why bother killing me? You'd just make Insanity mad, along with Aisse."

"No, I'm not!" "She's getting mad.."

"He's not EVIL!"

"Trust me, Insanity doesn't have to do anything to YOU directly." Erivon shudders. "And Aisse... Aisse's imaginative."

"Careful, you're starting to piss her off.. Do you REALLY want to see her pissed? I create tornadoes, she kills people." "Master. Is. NOT. Evil!" The wind starts to pick up, and Shali's eyes darken.

"He's not exactly a demon."

"I mean, Insanity can just turn the area around you to madness, and that's NEVER fun."

"I won't."

"You don't understand. By turn to madness, I mean he'd surround you in the visions of the most insane, so powerful that it only takes him the slightest bit of work to make them real."

"Trust me. I've seen him do it. It's nothing near magic. Magic generally requires focus. He does this stuff by accident. I fear for anyone who makes him focus it."

"I won't regret it." "Calm, Shal's. Remember what happens when you get mad..." "NEVER call me that, Avelion."

"Not exactly. Insanity works on a whole different... Area, than the wyld. I've seen him at work. It's scary. Very, very scary. When he's angry, you're nightmares aren't just real, they're everywhere, all at one. When he's happy, everything is flowers and peace and smiles. The speed at which the changes happen is ridiculous. "

"I won't tell you what he offered. But yes, it is worth an eternity."

"I was given my people back. A very much worth it trade off."

"Gah, you still don't understand. He's not of this form of reality, or that one, or any of the ones you might know. He is a new form of existence in and of himself, constantly being recreated, never the same."

The wind starts howling, and her eyes go full black. "Great job. Now you've pissed her off. Cynthia, help me restrain her before she attacks the god." Cynthia and Avelion each grab one of Shali's arms.

"She'll just end up getting herself killed for a third time." "NOT happening..."

"You still don't understand. I won't try to explain to one who has never felt it." He says, shaking his head.

((Insanity isn't supposed to be more powerful. He's just of a totally different form of existance than EVERYTHING, including the wyld.))

"Eh. I'm not fighting, and Aisse can survive everything."

((I know. That doesn't even begin to cover the sheer expanse of insanity. For Insanity, the water IS the rocks, the sky IS the water, and the space in between is full of fractal monkeys.))

"I'm Aisse's moral support, thank-you-very-much."

"Just leave him alone, Safire, he's had a rough day."

"Don't worry, I'll be with Insanity before the fighting, mister warmonger, sir." Erivon says, slightly ticked off.

((Insanity is STILL something else entirely, he's his own form of existence, a closed system that only affects what gets in it's way.))

((Gah! Insanity is his own form of existence, yes, but that's why he can affect everything, he's not linked to any one universe, reality, anything at all. Think of it this way: The planet jupiter is so far removed from the planet mars that even though mars can't do anything to it, if jupiter was suddenly near it, mars would be affected, quite disastrously.))

"Eh, he started it."

"For once, LISTEN to him! We don't need to be killing each other!"

"Eh. Aisse, can you summon up a room?"

"Sure." Aisse waves her hand at a bit of empty space. A five story, awesomesauce home appears. "You like?"
