((Aether fire is just Aether in a proper energy form, not fire, should have made that clear.))

((No, Aether is a semisolid, semi energy, magical substance. It can be converted either way, and is a very strong source of power for mages. This semi solid/energy state is what allows her species to actually live in it after their bodies die. No less believable than a paradox god. XD ))

"Meatshield!" Aisse yells, and a minotaur appears in front of the demon's attack, while she changed the Aether to a stronger form of energy, beginning a direct link to the Aether plane.

((Sorry, just had to get that one out of my head! XD))

The minotaur's head comes clean of, it's purpose done. Unfortunately, the meatshield wasn't ever actually a danger, being a meatshield made completely of meat. Aisse uses the extra time to open that rip to the Aether, pure Aether now flowing out.

((Pure Aether=lots o' power against the demon.))

"Being dead is annoying, seeing as there's so many rules to follow, and time limits to obey, and all that. But it does come with some advantages. Like this." She says. She then Aether jumps, letting the power pass behind her, and comes out behind the demon.

"Oh no you don't, that's MINE TO DO!" Erivon says, and throws out five of his chains, which have, indeed, reached absolute zero.

"Aww, how cute, you made him all protective. But I'm afraid you're little shield won't help you now, cause you are in direct contact with an Aether being, known notoriously for messing up power like nobody's business. I mean, how else are you to keep a half solid half energy substance as a home otherwise?" She jokes, at the same time opening a large Aether rip around her.

((Note, the Aether is directed fully at whatever is left of the shield.))

"Dammit, too cold. Where the hell is that paradox god, he could make it work. Oh well. Time to kill the other way." Erivon drops his chains. All of them, revealing a have reptilian man underneath. "Sword, shield." He says, as said items appear in his hands. "Growth." He becomes the size of the demon. "I know four spells only. The other is Shrink." He says, casting it at the demon.

"Dammit. Well, Eri, you'll have to kill him for me, this time." Aisse says, then looks at the rip. "Pull." And three fleshling orbs, not like the meatshield, come out, producing three proper minotaurs.

"Thought you'd try that. Remember soulgrab, Ais?"

"Clever bastard. Sorry demon, but blasting you to death has many advantages." She says, as she reaches a hand to catch the sword, then possesses it, effectively freeing herself.

((Stop that, or I'm getting out my Titanoboa cerrejonensis spell. Search that name, give the result metal scales. Possession fail wouldn't affect anything. And if that's how it works, then I'll just turn the demon into a small snake! Snakification for the win! Mwahaha!))

"Aisse, I could eat him, give me the word."

"Damnit. The word is Aegyptiacus." Aisse says in a bored tone.

"Aegyptiacus." He says, and then begins changing. He grew to a huge size, beginning to nearly dwarf the demon. Then the rest of the changes started. A large spine grew from his back, half foot long sabers from his mouth, quarter foot long claws, larger, dinosaur like talon-ed feet. "Thanks Aisse. I wanted that back. Hey, demon. Wanna fight proper?" He speaks, the grin evident in his voice. "THIS is my natural form."

"Damnit, I liked that hand." He says glancing at its injury. "I need it to hold swords and stuff. Now I'm pissed. You die." He says, and finishes the last bit of his transformation; spikes erupt from his tail and back. He slices with both his tail and good arm, biting at the demons head at the same time.


((Remember, he's HUGE.))

"I wonder what this will do. The other word?"

"Damn damn damn... " She sighs. "Sorvos. I'm gonna get you back for this one."

"Sorvos." He starts healing, changing back to a humanoid form, but this time, the humanoid form was different. It looked stronger. "Now we'll fight proper, you clever demon. Infection." he says, picking up his chains. " My people's old weakness. No true immune system. Now, die." The chains are back at a safe temperature now, but are growing twisted, evil looking spikes. He throws a total of five of them in a row.

"Hmm... I seem to be losing single combat... Maybe I should try different tactics. COME!"Erivon says, and backs up, as four gruagachs come from a portal behind him. "There. Maybe this will work better."

"OOohh... Good thing we're fireproof!" The gruagach farthest left says. They then jump onto the demon, their acidic skin going right to work.

"Nice idea," they say, continuing their work. "But our blood tends to be lethal to magical creatures. Oh, and we regenerate from broken bits like that." they add, even as more are growing.


((Good job, they've released a plague of acidskinned grey monsters!))

"Pain is nothing. I deal with THAT daily. Losing my sword arm on the other hand..."

The gruagach start casting their weird magic, completing various spells left and right, first acid spells, summoning spells, and such.

"You had better be right.." The gruagachs stop casting, and start splitting into many, each smaller than the last. It ends up with about 13 gruagachs from four.
