Week Two - May the Games (and classes) Begin

Hannah looks at Lysander. Really looks at him. "I love you, Lys. I admit it, okay? And after you wake up from this, which you will, I'll still kick your ass for scaring me like this... After I'm sure you won't go all vegetable on me again. It's only the second week of school Lys. Don't you DARE go and die on me and Shali, or we'll bring you back to kill you ourselves, you got that? I love you, Lysander Green." With that, she bends down and places a light kiss on Lys lips.

Lys lies there, cold and unmoving. Madame Pomfrey comes back in, and begins preparing him for his funeral.

Hannah sits there, holding onto Lys hand lightly. A few tears run down her cheeks and land on their hands.

Madame Pomfrey touches her shoulder. "We have to wrap him up soon, my dear."

Hannah shakes her head, more tears rolling down her cheeks.

Flitwick escorts her out, and Pomfrey wraps him up.
((Prepare for a hilarious funeral.))

Shali sits next to the now sobbing Hannah, rubbing her back softly as they wait for the funeral.

Lysander's family enters the castle, escorted by two dragons in elven form. They all are wearing deep black, and their faces range from grim to hysterically sad.

Shali doesn't notice, still comforting the sobbing girl she'd known for so long.

An enormous old man, Lysander's father, approaches them, his face blank.

Shali looks up slightly, her face damp with tears.

"I can see you knew Lysander. Do you mind if I sit with you?"

Shali shook her head, scooting over to make room.

"I am his grandfather, by the way. My name is Bartholomew. What's your name?"

"I-I'm Shali, sir, and my friend is H-hannah." Her voice quavers a bit as she chokes down tears.

He nods, looking at her with the same blank expression. "Clearly you both cared a great deal for him. He was lucky to have friends like you. Everywhere he went, he earned people's love and affection, even among the dragons." He nods towards the two dragons up front. "Do you know who they are?"

"No, s-sir. My mother is the dragon expert, not me."

"those two happen to be the strongest dragon lords on Earth. They're here, not for me, but for him. That's what kind of a person he was."

Shali bit her lip. Was, that hated past tense. It seemed so.. Fianl.

Bartholomew looked extremely depressed, then looked at Hannah. "What happened to her?"

"She loved him..." Hannah had not yet stopped crying.

"Ah. Then you too feel the great pain of his death?"

Shali and Hannah both nod.

"He is here, you know.."

"Just in a different sense of it." Jaime had arrived, and was looking just as depressed as Shali felt. He st on Hannah's other side, and put a arm around her.
