A War Torn World- Day 3

Nova, deciding one feeding session was enough, walked over to Shali at the wall. "Honestly, I prefer the cold weather. And, the snow's always lovely." Nova said, sounding weird from a guy who was just eating someone's sin.

"It is FREEZING. I'm wearing short-ACHOO!-sleeves. On other conditions I'd like it, but it's to cold." Shali sneezed violently, her entire body shaking. She stood up, covered in snow from head to toe. "ACHOO!"

Nova, who was used to this cold, walked back to where he left his coat (it's an expensive trench coat, of course he took it off during the transformation) picked it up, dusted it off, and walked back. "You sound terrible," Nova said. "You can wear this until we get back to a warmer place." he offered. "Just knew where a warmer place was..." Nova mumbled to himself.

"ARE YOU TURNING SOFT, NOVA?!"The voice asked, annoyed.

"No, it's not like that. I thought we needed her? Better to have her healthy if we need to observe her." Nova said quietly to the voice.

"I can hear you you know. ACHOO! Stupid snow. Tell you "Master" that is he wishes to observe me, he can ASK. I don't like being watched behind my back." Shali put on the coat, shivering. ((Hello? Don't expect much sound to get by her. She's a catgirl. She has expert hearing.))

Nova only grinned as they walked to whatever destination Shali decided on. "I have no idea what you're talking about. You must be going through hypothermia, or something, and hearing stuff." he said, laughing a little. He knew she probably knew some, but she could never fully understand what he truly was.

Shali led them into the inn for dinner. "They'll sometimes give me a free room during winter.." She mumbled, going to a table to sit.
((I am going to murder Jaime if he keeps this up.))

Nova sat across from her at the table. "I hope you don't mind, but my actual stomach's a bit hungry too." He said, laughing a small bit at his joke. "Never got to eat the first time, with the whole dragon thing. I'll order something small, than be on my way."

"Alright. I need to find somewhere better than the alley way to sleep tonight, because of the snow anyway. And the inn keeper is not known for his kindness." Shali ordered herself a small bowl of porridge.

Nova rubbed the back of his head at Shali's last comment. He himself hadn't made arrangements for quarters either, seeing as usually his first day wasn't so busy. He could easily sleep outside, or on a roof, but she couldn't. Too fragile. "I'll pay for a room for you for tonight, I suppose." Nova said. He outstretched a hand, and a few gold coins appeared in a black wisp in it. "Money is such a mundane problem. This should be enough." He said grinning.

Shali blinked, surprised. "Are you sure it's ok?" She absentmindedly chewed on her hair, rubbing her eyes.
((Ok, we need to finish up day three. What is the earliest you can be on?))

"It's fine." Nova said, finishing his food, and pushing the bowl away. He bid Shali goodnight, and walked outside into the snow. As he walked off, the storm almost seemed to blow away the silhouette in the dark. On top of the roof, he decided to talk to his master. "Are you sure this s worth it?"

"IT WAS ONLY A FEW COINS, I THOUGHT." The voice said. Nova blinked at the comment. That sort of absent minded thing was usually what popped out of his mouth, not his master's.

"I meant watchin..." Nova started.

"I'M AWARE WHAT YOU MEANT. IT WAS A JOKE. MY GAWD, I CAN'T MAKE A FREAKIN....NEVER MIND. YES, CONTINUE TO WATCH OVER THEM ALL. I SENSE SOMETHING GOOD COMING OUR WAY." The voice answered. Nova shrugged, and sat down. HE rarely ever slept, but he sometimes sat down and almost meditated, to refresh himself.

((It's practically over, aint it? Maybe 9 tomorrow...))

The sun set over the city, the residents quickly getting home.
Shali payed the inn keeper, and went to her room. She quickly fell asleep.
