War Torn World - The Paradox

"LEAVE!" Anye shouted, drawing her bow. "You are interfering with her getting us out of here!"

"Oh. It's a fight. I get it." The old man sits down.
Sin teleports to 5 million universes away- and keeps going.

((You have lots of people. The old man has himself. There is a rule. It's called law of annoyance 3b: Never, EVER, expect to defeat the little, bald, old man, EVER!))

"Would you PLEASE leave?" Little Cynthia asked him. "We just wanna kill the insanity godman...."

"I can't let you kill him." The area brightens up a bit, and you can see him more clearly. He's a small, wrinkly, bald, smiling old man.

"But we wanna go back home.... Pwease?" The three year old child gives him the puppydog eyes.

He can't see her. Anyway, he's so old it doesn't matter.

"No one is leaving." And suddenly, everyone, even the powerful safire, is locked into this place.

Cynthia pouts, and dives into the pile of clothes.

The lock doesn't break. It doubles in strength. "Insanity would have been here in a few minutes on his own anyway."

"Oh... SHIT!" Insanity tries to break free, but runs into the old mans lock.

Shali launches herself at him. "GIVE ME MY CLOTHES BACK! THIS IS WHY I HATE MOST GODS!"

"SHITSHITSHITI'MGOINGTODIE!!!!!" Insanity says, fleeing the old man.

Shali lifts herself into the air with her winds, her eyes glowing red. She goes into her demon blood form, and launches herself at insanity.

The old man says, "I thought I said no killing him?" Insanity is protected from death, but only barely. The old man doesn't like him, but he doesn't want to destroy everything, either.

"No he must be in reality completely. Something Sin did must have woken him up." Sin appears in the area, tied up.
"AAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Silence."
Sin shuts up, if unwillingly.

"That's amusing. Now cut it out." Safire is instantly three feet from where he was, holding a duck.

A tornado forms around Shali.

"Hmm? Oh... SHIT! How do you not fear that... THING?" Lucifer says, pointing wildly at the old man, who just smiles.

"The same way I do."

"Oh come on, God, you couldn't keep your nose out of my buisiness at all, could you?"

Avelion face palms. "Right. And everyone ignores the kid in DEMON BLOOD FORM, with a TORNADO around her. SO VERY SMART."

"TOM is here. We've got much more to worry about." After that, gods of all kinds start appearing here. They start arguing and fighting.


((The Old Man's name is TOM.))

"Shut. Up." TOM says. Everything just stops. As in, any movement but breathing. "Much better. I've always been here, blah blah blah and so on, but what's important is that we get Insanity here back to sleep. Then it'll all be fixed. How many of you were here the first time?" Two are three gods raise their hands. "Good, stand around him then. Safire, you'll need to get your mages out here, if you want them to live."

"He needs to be intact in his mind. It's what gives the universe it's randomness. You wouldn't want everything to be the same, hour after hour, day after day, now, would you?" Tom says, as the rest of the gods begin to assemble in a circle.

"Hush, sword. I know you." TOM says. "I've seen it. He wove in, but now, if you look, he's a part of it all. He's needed for errors in the mind, for successes and failures. He must be intact. His dreams weave life."

"Shali, DOWN. And, sword? Just let it be. He IS needed now. I can feel it, and I'm a demon."
