Re:Introduction

Hey everybody. I'm Nova. I was one of the founding members of this site back in the summer of '09, but for reasons, I had to leave for a while. I just got back in touch with everybody back in March, but it's not like that was going to be permanent. I'm here now, and though I can't guarantee regular attendance, I probably won't go AWOL any time soon.

Sorry in advance to my old friends, but I won't be joining any RPs until I can get some free time. Work, school, etc. really eats up my weeks. I've already talked to Shali about this, but I thought the rest of you might as well know.

To those of you newer people who might of heard of it, but never knew the tale, I used to run my own RP site called Novastadium. I got into forum RPing sometime in the Spring of '09, but for reasons I've been asked to not discuss, the site I frequented had to be removed. Regardless, I decided to make my own site and invited various people I knew from around the internet to join me, Shali being one of the main goers, and we had a blast. Tales are still fumed over today of the shitty alt-ending the players received in the infamous game "Uber-Quest." I don't know if it was her original intention or if I inspired her to do so, but Shali turned her preexisting site to forum RPs as well, so much of the old crowd here is a combination of my site, her site, and our IRL friends. Sadly, many of them left, but that's just the way things work.

I see a lot of new faces here, a lot of new names for old faces, and sadly a lack of other older ones, but I'm glad to be back regardless!

To let you know a little about myself;
I enjoy RPGs (online and off), arcade style fighting games, RPG video games, anime & manga, and drawing. My favorite RPGs are World of Darkness and GURPS, my favorite fighting games are Blazblue and Soul Calibur, my favorite Video Game RPGs are the SMT series and the Kingdom Hearts series, and my favorite anime/manga are The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I also enjoy many western cartoons as well, like Adventure Time, Regular Show, and especially My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Hi, I'm Alamyst, judging by the long post that I forced myself to read, I think we'll get along nicely!

Hi Risette. I like your username. I'd like to think it's a wink at P4, but if it's not, I'm going to pretend it is anyway and call you Rise a lot. You have no choice in the matter. I used to play a lot of Warcraft 3 in the days before WoW, but not so much anymore. The only people left online are fucking nuts. I've been tempted to try Starcraft 2, but I'm not convinced yet. I have played some other RTS games and enjoyed them, but I can't honestly say it's a genre I actively seek out and follow.

As for PSG, I'm assuming you couldn't sit through the first episode because of its sense of humor, which I get is not for everyone. If you ever want to try it again, I'd suggest sitting down to the Englsih dub. The Funimation crew did such a great job of translating over not only the jokes, but the humor as well. It seems Funimation can usually find a good crew to localize Gainax work.

Alemyst, we've had some short interactions before, but a formal greeting is always nice. Hope my posts aren't always a chore to read, but I do tend to type a lot. Sorry in advance.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love reading, I just have limited time before a teacher may catch me on a 'suspicious website' damn I hate the nieve teachers at this school...If you fancy MMORPGs, Star Wars The Old Republic went free yesterday if you have the time it's worth a look.
