"We're no stranger to danger. We're street kids. And street kids are always in danger." Shali and Avelia said together. They smirked at each other. "We take care of our self and our friends. You count, we ain't letting you get killed." Avelia said. "That's my bro. Not gonna give him a chance to refuse, are ya, Av'?" Shali laughed.

Shali laughed, amused. "That's what makes it fun. Who says the two of us only face street dangers?" She laughed. Avelia grinned. "Shali, show her what you can do." Avelia said. Shali grinned, and began to glow red an hover. Winds whipped around her. "I love this ability. Whatever else I hate about my race abilities, I love this." "Just don't lose control, Shal's. I don't like being forced to catch you at the speeds you fall at."

Avelia kept concentrating, and Shali sighed. "She ain't gonna stop."

Avelia sent her shields up when Cyos nearly reached the memory of her first kiss. STAY WAY FROM THAT!

Avelia slumped against the wall. "I can't see... Oh, this is bad."
In the forest, Shali huddled against a tree. She twitched a little as is started to rain, but didn't move anything else.

"He blinded me and did some sort of curse on Shali." Avelia sighed. "What good am I ass a big brother if I can't protect her? She's been through so much, can't she just get a break?"

"He said that since she wanted to kill him she deserved it. He did it when she said something about stopping me from getting hurt. Where is she?"
