Welcome to the crazy. (Actually, at the moment, it's rather serious!)

Maranka appears right as the goblins, due to inertia, tumble right into Stonepaw in a failed attempt to reverse direction.

They just bounce, and he sheathes his sword, using his powerful hands to rip off limbs, heads, etc.

The poor goblins are obliterated. A few managed to get far enough back to cower.

Stonepaw says one word only to them: "Run."

The goblins look at each other, nod twice, and run as fast as their ugly little legs can manage. One path seals up behind the monsters. The area behind Stonepaw seals up as well, leaving one way to go.

Stonepaw breathes a little before taking the path.

A minute along the path he comes across a lizard man, facing away from him. It turns it's head around to look at him. "Hi." It says, in a raspy voice.

"Greetings."

"Well, an adventurer who doesn't attack immediately. Much more interesting. Shall we duel?" The lizardman stands, revealing his equal height to the badger. In his hands are two rather thin looking swords.

Stonepaw drwas his blade, holding it in a ready position.

"And so we start!" The lizard man swings fast, weaving in the pattern of his race's blade dancers.

Stonepaw responds in what seem like lazy swings, moving with seemingly effortless grace and skill, appearing slow to the untrained eye, but always moving his blade just fast enough to block.

"Not bad." The lizardman steps up the speed threefold.

Stonepaw steps up the speed as well, still moving just fast enough to block.

The lizard man is grinning the standard locked grin, but it seems more so. He starts going faster and faster!

Stonepaw keeps up, then all of sudden, he kicks it into another gear, using his armor to deflect one of the lizard's blades, knocking the other away and pausing with the sword at his throat.

"Well, you have me at your mercy." The lizardman drops his swords. " You can kill me or not, either way you're free to pass."

"Why would I kill you? You have proven to be honorable, and a worthy opponent."

"I am glad. It has been a long time since I was defeated." The lizard man grins. Sorta. "By the way, take the path on the right, the left one is both a dead end and a trap."

"Thank you. Where were you trained?"

"Clan standard. We start from about six, and keep it up till we die."

"Ah. That explains things."

"Heh. Well, I hope we cross paths again one day, Warrior ...?"

"Stonepaw. I guess now... Lord Stonepaw..."

"Sitht, third down from Spar."
