Welcome to the crazy. (Actually, at the moment, it's rather serious!)

From her hiding place, the assassin nods. "She insisted, quite vehemently."

Zorvan mades a strangled whimper, and simply disappeared, without any of his normal show-offiness.

The sky darkened slightly, and a black mist formed in front of Cynthia. It began to manifest into a dark haired man. He had a few unusual features; firstly, his eyes were entirely black, with no pupil that could be seen by most beings. Secondly, he had sharp claws, about a foot in length each, where his fingers would have been. Third, at both of his forearms, two more claws, more bladelike, formed, point towards his hands. As well, the rest of his body was covered in various organic looking blades. Two dark horns jutted out from his head, holding his hair back. He appeared on one knee, facing Cynthia. He looked at her, studying the girl closely. Then, he slowly stood up, looking around him. "What... Is... happening here? I sense danger... to this girl." He spoke softly, with a voice that would be far more appropriate on an angel.

His head snapped towards the one that spoke. "Come... Here... Let me see you, if you will..."

The young neraphrim rolls her eyes. "I'm warning you now, if you try to get me to sell my soul or temporarily kill myself, I'm outa here." she steps out of her shadows.

He studied her closely. "Ah... You've a bright soul, lady Houpetor. Forgive my suspicion. But you must agree that the danger to this child is... Far too great to risk, yes?" He said, gesturing to Cynthia. "And you, young one, why are you risking your future like this?"

"I agree, but... She insists. And how do you know my last name?" Cynthia's eyes blaze. "He hurt one of Us. He can't be forgiven, and the others either aren't vulnerable enough, or aren't int- intew- intre- interesting!"

"I saw your soul, your name is written within." He said enigmatically. He smiled a sort of sad smile. "Then I have no choice but to stay. And no choice but to help fight whatever harms your daughter." He bends down on one knee, so that his face is level with Shali's. "You have an adorable daughter. Return to your hiding spot, and I shall wait as well." He faded out, dissapating into a mist.

She sighs. "You know, originally, I could at least try to hide that she was mine. She doesn't even have fur!" "Yet. I just haven't figured it out yet!"

A deep laugh was heard, emanating from behind Cynthia.

Cynthia turns around, her blue pig tails whipping around. The others turn to look.

A large being, covered in medieval armor, was standing behind her. Where the helmet would have been was a demonic skull, it's eyes emmitting a blue light. It's cape was ragged an torn, and where the rips were, blue light filled them. "Hmm. I see something that I want. Be good mortals and give. her. to. me." He said, putting the sheer authority of his power behind his voice. Any normal mortal would have fallen into worship, but those around him were NOT normal mortals. "Wait... I sense power here. Interesting. No matter, I'm certain she wants to go with me, right little girl?" He said, looking at Cynthia, attempting to control her mind.

"Over my dead body!" Hate blazes in Cynthia's eyes. "You hurt Vilymea. You. Hurt. My. Friend! You cut off her wings, and you laughed! I felt it! I saw it in her mind! You hurt her!"

Dasious looked startled, just for a second, which was what Sekatoul wanted. The black mist formed behind him, into claws which stabbed forwards and pierced Dasious's back. Unfortunately, he was not so easily defeated, the wound closed back as soon as the claws became mist again. "What is the meaning of this? What was that... Nothing?" He said, turning to face where the claws had formed.
"No, dark souled one. Not nothing. Sekatoul. You sicken me, but your soul..." Sekatoul said, forming in front of him, back on one knee, "Your soul looks delicious!" He looked up, and those who could see his face saw... a crazy look in his eyes, his once rather gentle smile turned to a manic grin, sharp teeth showing.

James deactivated the stealth mode, powering upwards in an enhanced uppercut.

Dasious grabbed James' fist before it hits him. "Hm. I wasn't expecting that. You nearly hit me." His skull mask acted as a face, its features becoming even darker than before. "Now suffer." He said, twisting James' arm.

Sekatoul's grin grew just a little wider. He started muttering under his breath, things along the lines of, "He want's the girl, the girl! But he can't, can't have her! No no no! He has to die now!" And such. He stood up, slightly unbalanced, and waved a clawed arm at Dasious. "Longclaw," he said quietly, and one of his claws extended, quickly heading towards Dasious.

((Both of these happen at the same time, of course, so that you can do stuff to Lord Daisy as well!))

James grunts in pain, and send a charge of a million volts coursing along the arm.

Dasious' arm jerked, and he let go. As he did this, he moved into Sekatoul's extended claw. The claw went about an inch into his arm, before Dasious grabbed it. "Again with the stabbing. You annoy me, little bug." He said, and attempted to break the claw. This was, apparently, not his best day, as Sekatoul retracted it. The sharp edges cut into his armor again, which of course began to seal.
"What about the horns? They should break too, like the hands... Feet, they must be removed." Sekatoul said, no longer paying attention to words. He held his right hand in the air, and said, "Three-claw." Three claws began to grow longer, as well as becoming more blade-like.

James grimaced, gripping his arm. He takes up an angry stance, an energy blade forming in his hand.

Dasious said something unintelligible, and was surrounded by a blue light. Sekatoul's claws came down onto that light, and stopped. "Blue light? Blue light? What do I do to blue light?" Sekatoul said, pulling his claws back. As he did so, Dasious threw a bolt of blue energy at him. It knocked Sekatoul to the ground, where he turned to mist again.
"Was that all it took? Pitiful." Dasious said, and turned to face James.

James stood between Dasious and Cynthia. "You can't have her."

"You think so? Ignorant fool. I will always have what I want." Dasious said, raising an arm to throw another blast. "If you do not move from my path this instant, I will incinerate you where you stand." The blue light begins to condense into a ball.

"I wouldn't, if I were you. It would be a mistake."

"Oh? Really?" Dasious said mockingly. He moved his arm to throw the energy, and stopped. An hand had reached out from the ground and grabbed his arm before he could finish.
"That's what I do to blue lights!" Sekatoul said, literally pulling his body out of the ground. "How to kill you? Slice up? Down? To the side? From the inside?" He rambles.
Dasious was startled by this, to say the least. He'd thought the being dead. No matter, he'd still get the girl. He began to glow a bright blue, the shield fading.

James blinks behind him, stabbing between his ribs with the sword.
