She whimpers, rocking back and forth.

"Great. I set her off..."

Ice kneels down beside her, whispering to her and touching the girls bracers. If one looked, they'd see power flowing from her into the bracers.

James watches, mumbling.

With a sob, the girl flings her arms around her and presses her face into her shoulder. Ice continues to whisper, rubbing her back.

"I really need to learn to shut up."

Eventually, she calms down. "Shh... Shh..."

James flops on the ground, drinking what appears to be water.

Vilymea falls asleep, her bracers literally glowing.

James coughs, and drops of water fall on the ground, and tiny flowers begin to grow.

"Fine, just choked on the water. Who taught you English?"

The ambassador shrug. "P'cked 't up. Fr'm th's." She hold up a red book.

"May I?"

She hands it to him. It's a complete book on human culture.

"Wait a minute..." He flips it to the author's page, and it has a picture of him. "Damn, I thought I destroyed these."

She grins. "You d'd. 't ended up 'n Hell. Found 't. Wa' u'eful for 'mb'ss'dore dut'e'."

"Ugg. It could be worse, it could be the OTHER book."

"You me'n th' blue one?" she asks with a smirk.

"Nope. The one I DIDN'T destroy. The blue one was written for... well, for someone who no longer is here..."

"Please, switch to your normal language. I apologize, but I am having a hard time understanding you."

With a sigh of relief, she switches. ""
