Week Two - May the Games (and classes) Begin

"You guys ready? Shali? Jaime?"

They both nod, Shali's eyes changing from their normal brown to black.

"Okay, grab on."

They grab on.

They land in a field outside the biggest castle they've ever seen, and notice a dragon attached to a spire. His grandfather stalks out, then runs and gives them all a big hug.

"Hannah's been kidnapped."

Bartholomew looks grave. "The Knights?"

"We think so, sir."

Bartholomew pulls out a sword, his wand and a whistle, as Lys' parents come out. "Then let's waste no more time, shall we?"

"No time shall be wasted."

"Everyone grab onto me, then." Lys grabs his enormous trench coat, waiting for the other two.

Shali and Jaime grab on.

They arrive a hundred meters from the edge of the Knight's manor, and Bartholomew turns to look at them. "Now for a distraction."
He pulls out the whistle, grinning.

They wait.

He blows it, and four massive dragons fly into the manor, knocking down the walls, causing chaos and damage.

Jaime and Shali ran in, searching for Hannah.

"Well, they ran off before I could give them something."
Lys grabs it and takes off after them.

Jaime searches the upper floors, while Shali intercepts Lys. "You need to search the bottom floors. I've got the middle, and Jaime's upstairs."

"Here. Grandpa said to give this to you."
He hands her a small flat box, and begins hunting the lower section.

She opens it, standing still for a moment.
A quiet groan can be heard from the bottom floor.

She sees a metal wand inside.
Lys breaks open several doors, hunting frantically.

Behind the last door he opens, he finds a room. The walls are covered with various torture implements, and in the middle of the room... Well, one would have to wonder how they could have hurt Hannah so much in so little time.
There's no spot on her that isn't at least bruised. Deep gashes cover three fifths of her body, ad she looks like she's been cruciod. Her arms are both broken, and her eyes are shut.
Shali finishes searching the middle, and heads down the stairs.

Shali hears a deep cry emanating from the room, a primal roar coming from Lysander as he looks at Hannah, tears coursing down his face.
