Name: Karie Wuld
Alias: "Gryphon"
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Race: Altered Human
Origin: Science
Powers: Speed and Claws

Appearance: Standing at 5'9 when fully upright, Gryphon makes an intimidating sight. Though she was once human, she no longer resembles this, with sharp claws, hawk wings, and the eyes of a falcon. Soft fur covers her entire body, and she has a long tail, often wrapped around her waist. Her hair is short, and spiky.
Weaknesses: Flames, telepathy, and ice.
Backstory: Karie had always lived in the isles. Her mother had followed her villainous lover there, who promptly fled when shown his infant daughter. Miss Wuld couldn't afford to move back to Paragon, so instead, she stayed, trying to raise her daughter to the best of her abilities. But, in the isles, it's hard to avoid corruption, and by fourteen, young Karie was running with the gangs. Her mother complained, but didn't turn away the food and medicine her daughter brought her.
By eighteen, Miss Wuld was dead, and Karie wasn't running with the gangs anymore, instead stealing for herself, and making a nice little hidey-hole for herself. Eventually, she was caught in a scientist's lab, about to steal his supplies, and she was given a choice- she could let him run the experiment she had interrupted on herself, and go free, or she could resist, and die. Needless to say, she took the first option.
It seemed simple enough. He injected her with a needle, she came back every couple days so he could see the effects, and he sent her away with free food. What she didn't know was that the food was laced with small amounts of the serum, strengthening the effects.
After a month, he finally had his data- and a minion. Due to the serum he had been feeding her, much of her memory was gone, or altered, and she was an obedient lackey, doing any crimes he asked of her. When he was finally killed, after getting into a fight with another resident of the isles, she kept doing what she was doing- crimes- and kept the name he had given her. "Gryphon."
