Tome 1: The council's Return- OLDOLDOLD

There's a sign hanging on the desk on the other side of the room that says "Out for lunch Dinner"

Sabre scouts around for some paper and something to write with, his journal being back at home, having not been able to retrieve it due to having his father watching as he packed. He discovered the necessity of hiding it after his father tore his previous nine journals to pieces in front of him.

Kali looks around, giggling, and starts climbing up to the chandelier. It's difficult, but using the stair railings to help herself, she manages to grab the bottom of it. She swings forward a little, and with some difficulty, she manages to pull herself up, swinging her legs over the bar. She leans back until she's dangling by her knees, giggling. It would look more impressive, were it not for the fact that she's holding onto the bar she's dangling from with one hand, as well.

((Oh god, what have I done?!)) A bell rings from outside and it's time for everyone to go to bed, the guild is pretty strict about that. ((Time to move along to the interesting bit...))

Kat stuffs a piece of chicken into his shirt as he leaves the dining hall.

Sabre looks from side to side furtively as the bell for bed rings, before scooping up the books and making a mad dash for the forms, books tucked partially under his arms. Sleep was not high on his list of priorities this night.

Kali huffs a little, jumping down and heading upstairs.

Aril is found in a bed, with one of the apprentices having carried her there. The others see in the bedroom 6 beds in total, 3 have their names engraved. 3 are open so it would seem. Ranger is in a deep meditative state on his bed. the other apprentice seems to be somewhere else. There are night stands by each bed with two sets of uniforms, when one is dirtied, it is implied that you put the clean one on and put the dirtied of the two in the laundry basket, the servants come every day to make the beds, wash the clothes, and at times, sharpen spare weaponry. Assuming Sabre was in the basic library ((more on that later, when we've gotten a little farther in)) as soon as he walks out, there's a door open to his left. Kat and Kali will have run into each other at the top of the stairs and find Sabre to their left.

Sabre heads through the doorway, ignoring the other two and smuggling his books under his arms. He jumps up any stairs and obstacles, with a single word each time.
"Leap. Leap. Leap."

Kat immediately takes a spot that allows him a full view of the room. He then starts eating the chicken that he took with him.

((And I'm.... BATROC THE LEAPER!))

Kali slips in, perching an a bed. "Sooooo... Anyone up for sneaking around?"

"Why would we do that?" Kat asks, finishing the chicken. "Food here is really good, by the way!"

"Sorry... need to finish studying."

The children can hear talking coming from the map room.

Kat's curiosity is perked. "Wonder what they're talking about." He says, a bit on the soft side but still audible.

"Probably how we don't shape up. Or something about a quest someone far better than us did." Sabre grunts all of this in a sullen monotone, seeming depressed.

Kali rolls her eyes. "Well, there's only one way to find out! Come on!" She bounces to her feet.

"Have fun with that."

"Nah. We might get banned from the food."

She huffs. "You'd let a girl inspect a potentially dangerous situation on her own?"

"She's probably more capable than I am..." Sabre sighs again, cracking open his books.

Ranger get's out of his bed and silently walks out the door. The speakers can be identified as Maze and two others.

"That's the spirit!" She grins, hurrying to catch up. She grabs Ranger's arm, trying to pull him down into a crouch.

Kat stays in the bed.
