Blood red eyes at night, sunny blue eyes during the day. Strangely deep red lips. Four feet eight inches tall, skinny, mildly muscled. Three tattoos, two normally visible. Third is on her rear, of a small green and black python. Longish nails. Delicate looking fingers. Small bust size, no larger than A-cup. Hips aren’t too wide, but still a bit curvy. Feet seem rather small.

Thick and black jeans, red t-shirt with a dragon pattern on it. Dark red fingerless gloves. Combat boots, black, metal tipped. No visible socks. Right leg of jeans torn to make access to knife easier.
Weapons: Small, normal pistol, 8 shots loaded. Carries an extra 16 rounds. Three knives. One straight, double edged, 6 inches, in her right boot. One 4 inches, curved and jagged, kept in jacket strap. One 8 inches, kept at side, curved and _very_ sharp looking. Has sheath, black with green python on it.
History: Mariya was a girl who liked to hurt people in her way. She tore through gangs who thought she would be an easy target like most people do gift wrapping; gleefully and quickly. She eventually joined the one that survived her own personal onslaught. Before that, she completely decimated two other gangs in her neighborhood and scared off another two before they could even move in. That’s not to say she made the place safe. But that’s not important. What is important is the third gang. This group called themselves the Daywalkers, and really seemed to be unstoppable, each member nearly five or even ten times as physically strong as a normal person. She killed four of them. When they finally got her held down, they offered her a chance to die or join them. She took door two. When she woke up, she was a vampire. Being a vampire changed her, making her stronger and faster, but her personality stayed the same. So why is she so nice and timid now? Not too complicated, that one. The reason the gang called themselves the day walkers is their _second_ initiation process. The one where the slowly train/torture the young vampire by exposing them to sunlight at various levels, up to the point where the vampire is able to resist the effects, and eventually is immune to the sun. They did a similar process with crosses and holy water. She can stand in most religious symbols wielded by someone whose faith isn’t strong. Holy water still melts her skin, but she can stand back up and keep going with relative ease. Garlic is still a mortal enemy, a cross wielded by a true believer, or any religious symbol wielded by a true believer for that matter is still powerful, she must still be invited in, and she cannot actually cross running water. When confronted with fresh blood, she will always try to drink it, even if it is from a true friend. But the torture changed her, broke her little bubble of security. Now she smiles and laughs, though, at jokes and not murder. She became of little use to the gang, because she wasn’t a ruthless killing machine anymore. They tossed her out, thinking her dead in a pool of holy water. They underestimated her. She walked, stabbing her way back through the members of the gang. She could still kill, just didn’t want to as much. Then she got transported through dimensions to this one, and is stuck here.
