Twilight of the Gods

((Well, um... can we go on now?))

Sera grins. "Awesome." She pulls another candle, this one with mystic symbols on it. She takes few deep breaths, then breaths out at the candle and it lights. "Energizes and aids focus." She says, setting it down.

Bran seems to be growling, scales slowly spreading out over every inch of his skin. Screaming metal rings through the pit of the arena, as the chains snap.
"Xalmyst, I need you to keep as many people off of me as possible, I don't want to get overwhelmed in the fighting. Sera, I need you to watch my back. I am going to be pretty blind back there. Also see if you can boost my strength and Xalmyst's aim."

Laryn feels something boosting her magic, and instead of a tiny spike that might do a small amount of damage, the spike becomes massive, tearing straight through not only the guard that bit her, but through the one behind him as well.

"Can do!" Sera begins chanting, calling again upon the sun god. "Alara Ra na senata vo wreth..."

Amilee groans from her place on the ground, the wound where the club bashed her skull bleeding sluggishly as she tries to get back to her feet.

The old lady gently helps her up, clotting the blood.
"Now now, Child. You should be more careful."

Amilee looks dizzy and confused, rubbing her forehead. "O-ow..."

"No? I... What?"

((Before you read, I completely forgot that I was supposed to post here, sorry for the late post in advance.))Xalmyst draws his bow, keeping an eye out for anything that wants to aquaint themselves with an arrowhead

((It's all right. I did not post for a month after I should have.))
Bran groans, and a popping, crunching noise can be heard, as the scales begin to cover the entirity of his body, and his limbs stretch.
"Let us go. Before I lose all control."

"I d-don't know wh-what you mean?"

Amilee obeys, looking more then a little confused.

"The world appears, the edges slowly filling in before her eyes. At first, it is beautiful, and pristine, but slowly, gently, that changes. At first it seems to simply be a shadow from the image in the old woman's palm, but every second, certain places begin to Darken, and that Darkness spreads, creeping across the landin a slow but inexorable march. A feeling of great terror emanates from the image, the fear of The End, an end that seems inevitable next to the slow march of the Darkness.
"This is what I see, Child. It is weakening those of us who should be strong. We may not be able to shelter you for much longer."

Amilee stares for a moment. "It's broken..." she mutters to herself, straightening. "It's battered and broken. I'm a healer. I'll heal it."

The old woman smiles gently down at here, and a feeling of comfort and peace washes over her.
"Once there was a man.... nay, a Being who could drive back the Darkness. But he went to heal the Accursed Lands. Dear Child, you have much spirit. I hope you and your companions are capable of doing what we who call ourselves the gods cannot." The old woman looks tired, her wrinkles seeming to deepen and become more worn as she stares soberly down at Amilee.

"Belief is power. If we believe we can, then we can."

"Who... Are you?"

"Tezi... Tezcal... Aurgh. Names. I dislike names..."

The woman seems highly amused.
"Tezi will do, Child."

"Tezi, then. ...Thank you."
